I hate hate hate when people use and abuse the couponing system. I always try my best to keep myself and those I shop with/for on the straight and narrow. It is becoming more and more difficult to coupon, especially when others use and abuse really good deals, those of us who do everything right lose out on the best offers.

There are times when I have made mistakes before, but I try my best to correct them. One such one was at Zehrs with the old $2.00 Crest/Oral-B oral care coupon. I was using a lot of them (that was approved by the manager on duty for a food bank donation), in the confusion the supervisor put in one of the coupons as $20.00 instead of $2.00, meaning I got an extra $18.00 off (That I didn't notice till I got home), and once I noticed, I went right back to Zehrs and got it corrected, paying back the difference of $18.00... She was surprised and glad that I came back to correct that mistake.

If we as couponers, do the right thing and try not to cheat the system, we won't get screwed over as much as we do. But there are some out there who will always try to game the system unfortunately...

I hate when people misuse the couponing system also and i have been cpning for 30 some odd years ,it ticks me off.

I know what you mean about people abusing the usage of coupons. When I am out shopping I usually try my best to follow the wording on the coupon. I would not like a cashier to get into trouble . I know each store interpreted the coupons differently.

Hope you still share your finds so that all others members that can benefit. One member is not like all others.
I like when people share there finds . So I know wants to look for and sometimes copy there deals

Good Morning,
The good news is, I slept well last night although I woke up a few times feeling like it was morning. Then this morning I woke up before my alarm which was great except now I think my body is playing tricks on me because as soon as my alarm went off all I wanted to do was go back to sleep LOL.

This morning my head is just spinning, I was hoping getting to work an focusing on work would keep my mind off things but no such luck. It is a catch 22, we are slower today which is needed so production can catch up, but I wish it was busy so I could focus on work and not on other things.

Good news is, I feel much better going into this week, I think I really needed to take this past weekend off and shift my focus so it was not just work 24/7. Also, when it comes to work I mean do not get me wrong I still have my projects to work on but I feel like I am in a better place, I do not feel like there are 500 things that need to be done and need to be done right now, so that is nice.

Alright let's get back at it and see if I can find a project I can throw myself into head first and focus on that instead of things I cannot control right now.

Ok for some reason was up very earlier due to bad sleep and insomnia so I looked at different websites for my fall matress coat...all the websites was much expensive and did not have plus size (4x to be sure it fit ) so off to wal mart .ca i go

my fall matress coat cost 20$ in blue turquoise 4x ( still expensive to me but the others ones were more pricey and dont want to go around the city because they dont carry size plus and vallue village I am prettty sure I would had paid like 15$ for a same coat....so no and maybe no choice and no chance)

Good Morning! Beautiful day here so far.

I wrote out a "to do" list and already knocked one thing off it. The upright freezer has been cleaned out and organized. A No Frills bag full to toss out ( old chicken wings/fries/ricotta cheese) We have tons of good food. Found 4 roasts of beef , lots of steak, pork chops,chicken (so much chicken) meat pies, bacon etc. So we have a nice assortment and will eat well from the freezer for the next while. No more french fries are to be bought! Oh my. we have lots!!! And our frozen veggies are good too. I may buy more green beans just to keep us well stocked. I have 3 of the peppers/onion mix which are fantastic for fahitas when peppers are expensive. (and no work just dump in pan!!) I should buy more of those maybe.

When DS get up I'm going to have him empty a lower cupboard in the kitchen and put everything up on the counter so I can go through everything and toss the crap. Since I'm on a mission to toss crap I should do it today!

Good news, the personal situation has an diagnosed (obviously it was a medical issue) some slight changes are needed but it is not the worst case scenario which is what I was fearing. I am so beyond Thankful, I cannot even put it into words right now. I really was worried it was going to be the worst case scenario.

Alright back to this day, lets see what all I can get done.

Using my last day of vacation to just get caught up on stuff. Did a few returns, went to Costco as we were out of propane for the outdoor fireplace. Dinner is out tonight using a gift card I won earlier in the year. I still have a few things to do. Just debating if I put them off until Tuesday but I know I hate trying to do errands after work and the 1st day after vacation is always crazy.

Watched the girls today took them down to confederation parkette (nice playground ) plus washrooms near by.Cara had a fit and was on the ground she didnt want to leave ,my oh my the age 2 and 3,s

I did 3 loads of laundry for my son/daughter-in-law all washed and dried and the girls is put away (i dont put my son's/wifes away)

On the way home from playground at 11.00 and stopped at wendys for 3 frostys .99 each -the girls love them .
Cara napped for an hour and a half so i just rested on the couch while papa had ashlyn out front.


My daughter-in-law went thru a bit of clothing (may take the few items to pluto for her).I managed to get a free pair of walmart george brand denium stretch bermuda shorts ,as they fit me -yess.

Posting a few clothing items on kijiji for 4.00 each tops and a pair of capris -hope they go .

Good Evening Everyone,
I was trying to focus at work but it was a struggle, after getting the good news I kind of crashed and got really tired. I was so happy but then my emotions crashed. But with that being said I got quite a bit done so I am happy with that.

When I got home I forced myself to tackle one task around the house but wanted to keep it 30 minutes or less, I need to get stuff done but I am also feeling very exhausted. So I swept the main level floors, I was tempted to also wash them but I did not have carrying the bucket up and down the basement stairs.

Well I made dinner, I also made some Spreadables because we were out and cleaned up the kitchen, all the dishes are done, the dishwasher has been loaded and is running now. My Breakfast and lunch are made for tomorrow so now I can relax a bit before bed.

granger -i am pretty sure my son/wife love the help i give ,my son thanked me today .
My daughter i dont do enough for her but we try as they live in toronto -i will take sebastian next sundy one more time for a few days ,as i dont think her is starting school in toronto til the 15th

I dont watch any grandkids til thursday just ashlyn ,she asked to sleep over so we will get her the night before (besides that will help with not getting up so early to get to their house)

School update: went in today (Monday). This was an optional day. Organized my new room. Made it functional and easy to move. I should know what I am teaching tomorrow. There is always a chance with everything the assignment and room might change. I went in without goals and was very productive. Read through the new math curriculum too! Tuesday is a mandatory work from home day (okay, I don't know what I am teaching). I figure my my work today was in lieu of it. Wed and Thu I have meetings and Friday is an optional day.

Niece came over for a surprise sleepover today (Monday). They are moving and the buyers check from their home didn't clear in time to get keys (make purchase for their new home). Hopefully it will all be sorted tomorrow. BIL and SIL are with DH's parents across the road with their son. We offered to help and niece was thrilled. I think chocolate chip pancakes are in order for breakfast.

Came on here instead of eating. Must stop eating.

Off to watch some Netflix. I am watching a series called Rectify. DH and I are also watching (and fast forwarding a lot through ) Game of Thrones. It has a little more skin than we usually watch. We are enjoying the story and it is free from the library so we don't have to pay for Crave TV to get it.
