    yes, i agree london drugs is and has been a fantastic place to coupon. i wouldn,t expect the company to do anything any different.

    but, which coupons from what companies are you successful with stacking there?
    i find most of my coupons have the "one coupon per purchase"

    therefore i have done less shopping there

    "One coupon per purchase" is acceptable wording according to London Drugs coupon policy. I have no problem stacking those coupons. It is the 'cannot be combined' wording that makes a coupon non-stackable. Sorry to hear that your London Drugs is not on board with the company's coupon policy. I feel your pain...my Save-on-Foods is the same. They're not on board with their corporate couponing policy....

    I have a 3 different Tums coupons with different UPC . On the back it says, Not valid with any other offers, and then in the middle it says Limit one coupon per purchase per customer... IS THIS STACKABLE?

    LondonDrugs Hi xxxxxxxx - if it says not valid with any other offers then it cannot be stacked.

    This is what I find confusing lately....2 shoppers, same LD. 1 was not allowed to use stacks on Splenda because the wording says 'cannot be combined with any other offer', the other was (different cashier). Why was 1 allowed & not the other? That to me, doesn't make any sense.

    Likely confusion about new rules.

    The cashiers have to take time to learn it too, and with lots of changes and "Well so and so said..." it gets a little confusing.

    I haven't bothered stacking at London Drugs since just before Christmas. It's all very confusing right now so I'm just going to wait until it becomes more clear what is stackable and what isn't before I attempt to shop there again. Thank goodness I have a large enough stockpile that it doesn't make a difference if I take a lenghthy break from shoppong there.

    I meant to post this way earlier but misplaced it for sometime.

    I was given the following memo from a supervisor at LD in Victoria. Typed word for word excluding contact information for privacy.

    We have been informed by the manufactures of Scrubbing Bubbles that they will not reimburse us if we stack this particular coupon.

    New Scrubbing Bubbles- Coupon Language
    One coupon per purchase. One redemption per customer. Coupons/offer not valid in conjunction with other offers, promotions or discounts.

    To break this down a bit:

    One coupon per purchase-normally means we will stack since it implies they can only use of one of this type of coupon and other different coupons would be okay. In this instance, we cannot stack because the manufacturer will not reimburse us.

    One redemption per customer. This mean one of this type of coupon per customer. Meaning, the customer can only purchase one product per visit.

    Coupons/offer not valid in conjunction with other offers, promotions or discounts. This coupon also can't be accepted if the product is on sale or price matched with other retailers.

    If customers are concerned with language use on the coupon they should be encouraged to contact the manufacturer with their feedback.

    We are receiving significant pressure and push back from the manufacturers for coupon stacking. We would like to make it clear that from time to time you'll need to use discretion when stacking coupons and as a member of management you always have the right to limit quantities that are unreasonable.

    Merchandising and Finace are putting pressure on the manufaturers to use clear language on their coupons and advising that we will side with customers in situations where their language in not clear. Finance has discussed the limited time our cashiers have to read every coupon and interpret the meaning.
