they do have good deals on clothes and groceries.

I won't buy the clothes there anymore...especially the kids stuff. My experiences with their clothing hasn't been good. They do have good deals on everything else though!!

can be great at times, can be crumby at times.

you can usually get a great deal on grocery stuff if you shop the sales. on a slightly related note, our gt smells like a musty basement.... and it is relatively new too

ewe thats a turn-off. but your right about getting stuff at right times- sometimes they have nothing and other times its great. We used to do alot of back to school shopping in the one in campbellford when we were at the cottage in the summer.

SOmetimes you can find fab deals, I use to buy a lot of clothes there years ago and never had any problems.

I work at GT hahaha (i'm a student, what can you say). Im a fashion rep so I can safely say their clothes are cheap, but that also reflects their quality. It's not bad though. But you can find tons of deals on their groceries and cleaning stuff.

Giant tiger is good for food, cleaning products, and alot of times they have brand name clothes, like Abercrombie and American Eagle. (not the best quality, but that's why they sell it) Won't buy clothes for my 11year old , they tend to shrink
I love it for the home accessories, candle holders, picture frames, etc (what my Hubby calls clutter) lol

Best deal was a Pop and Hotdog for $1- and Free Popcorn to boot!

Glorified BiWay, but didn't get to check out the whole place-too tired!
