Starbucks: free coffee with ID
Nandos: free meal with ID. Nandos offers this freebie for laid off restaurant workers too.
McDonalds: free coffee or tea with ID
Harveys: 50% off take out and delivery with ID
Swiss Chalet: 50% off take out and delivery with ID
Vessi: free pair of shoes with ID
Chevron in BC and Alberta: $10 off 20 liter or more gas purchase, with ID
Free daycare for children of health care workers, 24 hours per day: example, Toronto with ID
Staywell is offering free housing for health care workers at their apartment and hotels, Canada wide, with valid ID
Dinos pizza in Etobicoke is offering free pizza, with ID
Figs scrubs is offering free scrubs to hospitals in the next 2 months
Crocs is offering free shoes for health care workers, every day after 12 noon, until the daily limit is reached, with ID
CAA South Central Ontario health care members get free roadside assistance when calling and identifying as a health care worker, with ID
CAA is also transporting for free, to food banks, Meals on Wheels, pharmacies and community agencies

Yes we have to remember the frontline workers the are our heroes. No matter what capacity the work in. I always appreciate them and I am sure we all appreciated and think of them more with this Pandemic going on.

Local station ran a segment today about the cross-border truckers finding it near impossible to have places to eat, to shop or to use bathroom/shower facilities. They are limited to their truck bunks for sleep and on Twitter, some truckers scarcely see family during a 5-day period. That's an oversight-not having trucker facilities open for truckers.
