The chief medical officer of health for ON announced that you don't have to wear a mask after Saturday. Except in a long term care home, retirement home, hospital or where any business or building says they have a policy that you must wear a mask indoors.
Will you wear your mask after Saturday?

Yes, and my reasoning is I have not caught any nasty cold viruses since 2019. I credit this to wearing a mask when I'm out shopping, paying for gas or visiting Dr.'s offices. This pandemic stuff really opened my eyes to germs spreading.

It varies for me, I do wear them when I am out shopping, doctor's, anything like that yes. But at work if I am sitting at a desk working no I do not now that our mandate has lifted, but with that being said I am no side by side with someones we are seperated.

I’m not in ON but our mask mandates have been lifted for what seems to be forever and we still wear ours. I wear them at work so does Dh (his workplace has just now removed the plexiglass
.
Sorry but it hasn’t gone away, hasn’t mutated into a regular cold or flu that doesn’t potentially do major long term damage to organs so not worth the risk IMHO. Not to mention a lot of people are gross and don’t practice personal hygiene so no thanks.

Durham school board is recommending that masks be worn in school when students return in 2023. Hamilton school board had the same recommendation last month.
