    hey!!

Well, I just had to come on here and brag. Ive been so happy with the deals ive found on something we've been wanting to buy for the longest time.

Ive been hunting online, in stores and my fave place of all, KIJIJI for a bed for my growing toddler.

WE've been on a tight budget this past year, and thankfully had my wonderful in laws who passed down a futon they never used and she slept on that.

This month had been great, I've been saving for a while now and had about $1300 put aside for bedroom furniture for my princess.

I was browsing KIJIJI came across an ad for a 4 peice ikea (LOVE ikea furniture, so modern and stylish) bedroom set for $300. Though wow! looked brand new, sent an email and no reply I was so sad, but hey it was for the best! I got an email back from the person selling it after 2 days and it was AVAILABLE and mine to take !!!

She said, COme have a look no pressure and obviously i asked her if that was the final price. She said how much was I looking to spend, said $250 and yup I got it!!

HUbby picked it up yesterday!! its in an immaculate condition!! one scratch nothing broken looks brand brand new!

So i got the bed (no mattress), one night stand, one 3 drawer dresser and a long standing wardrobe for $250. its from the ANEBODA collection.

So today, off i went to see some mattresses. I thought about buying online, but just couldnt get over the thought of a second hand mattress. Popped by the sears outlet, RIDICULOUS prices on matresses, but scored a nice girly comforter set for my daughter for $24.88 AND matching bed sheet set for $14.88 She was over the moon!

NExt, we browsed through many stores, and found a nice double mattress for $280 taxes in. AMAZING!! most 200 ranged mattresses were too soft and crabby looking this ones nice.

Came home, set it up for her and shes the most happiest ive ever seen her!

Well worth saving the money and more importantly, I SAVED So much from the $1300 i was originally planning on spending. I spent $574 and I Still have money left over which will go towards something like school clothes for her.

    IM A HAPPPY MOMMY TODAY!

I WILL ADD PICS SOON of her set room! THANKS FOR READING!

It is a great deal but make sure you do not let DD put too much in the dresser as my DD did and the bottom kept popping out and finally could not fix it. Wardrobe I still have 4 years later. Great set and great price WTG!!

First, I'm impressed that you had such a "nest egg" after a year of being "tight" with your budget. THEN you get such a wonderful set of deals! Terrific!

Nice brag.. Waiting to see the pictures of the set room... My daughter has been asking for her own room for a while now can't wait to follow your steps. I have all my 3 kids and my mom-in-law cramped in one small room at the moment. hopefully soon we'll spread out...
    WTG....
