I'm going to assume you have to pay for your airpods without that gift card in order to get the gift card. Then use it in your next transaction. Otherwise I expect cashier will be engaging you in some kind of debate on the weekend and you nor cashier want that when everyone scrums in the 8am hour to nab deals.
Assuming that store even has two cash checkouts staffed! All those gift cards with purchases will need cashier involvement. You don't want to be stuck at self-checkout trying to cash out.

I thought so, but I have read of others doing it successfully in the past so thought I'd ask to see if anyone had done it and was successful on this page. Still might scoop the deal and use the card to pay taxes on my redemptions. Thank you for responding.

Black Friday flyer front page-there's mention of up to 50% off on the PC 5qt Dutch oven (as shown in PC Insiders Report) and stainless steel roaster this weekend. Up to 30% off rest of week. If your store has these, check to see if the Dutch oven's regular price is $59.99 as in the Insiders Report.

My local SDM has stainless steel roaster at $34.99 and PC 5qt Dutch oven at $69.99.

Bought red PC 5qt Dutch oven for $34.99+tax (50% of SDM regular price) on Saturday.

The back of the Insiders Report doesn't list SDM as "Exclusive home of PC products at these locations". Maybe that's their out for selling for more at SDM.

Thanks for posting your purchase info here! I recall one grocery flyer did state a regular price of $69.99 for the Dutch oven (think it was Maxi) but Insiders Report states $59.99.
I think Shoppers was trying to get some way to draw traffic in considering 2 of the Loblaws banner stores (Loblaws and RCSS) have thrown so many PC Opt pts offers in their flyers.
