The Walmart Canada commercial (both in English and French) with a little red-headed girl asking the WM associate for things for various versions of spring is funny and oh-so-spot on! Second winter indeed--Ontario has two days of snow precipitation in next week's forecast of cooler temperatures in the mid-teens.

Somehow this week is a preview of summer in the mid-twenties (and to feel like 30C by Friday). Making ice cubes in the next few days will be a priority. Postponed my Burlington daytrip to next week, though will visit big box land in town soon.

Tossed out the shower curtain and door mat purchased last summer during Monday's things to do tidying (and running loads of laundry). Both showed some wear and I'm over making the effort to wipe/wash/sweep them. Time for new mat and the Winners shower curtain is up again.

Did two walks to stores yesterday-photo printing area at Walmart has two more kiosks installed again (hurrah-as I was worried about queues for my print run). Noticed Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar and Pepsi Retro cases are in stock at the store. No Bo space-dye shirt is a poly-spandex cropped top, not a polo shirt as I thought it might be. Actually found 4 spring jackets at stores but L size is an issue. Looked online and one style, the George rain jacket is only available in black as the light blue is sold out and beige is sold out (but beige is in my store). $50 for rain jacket or $55 for parka with inner shoelace type drawstring (not a fan of patch pockets on coats-bad weather means I need slanted pockets for warming hands/keeping things dry).

Food Basics walk-bought Dr Pepper 6pk of pop as some flavours were sold out but no sign of Dr Pepper Zero Sugar. Got pasta and some reduced fruit too.

No treasure finds on my walks and I feel sad that all the beer cans and takeout stuff being lobbed on the street/bridge this week and last week have not been put into the trash can at the roundabout. Spring weather brings some wildness again. The Rise of the Crushed Takeout Packaging should be a documentary...or action film.

Sunday night-random find on TVO tv while channel surfing: a new Tripping video, this time on a Via train from Sudbury to White River! I only saw it from 8:45pm to its conclusion. I need to watch the beginning. It was interesting to see another northerly part of Ontario (the other being the Tripping the Bruce Trail video)!

I may have figured out why I haven't seen Global channel on tv-a few days ago I adjusted the streaming rate down from 4K to HD while using Roku Channel and I actually had a picture for a few minutes today (as channel is CIII-HD) but signal kept breaking up. I also went seeking specific segments of Martha Stewart Living (the 90s show) on Sunday (show is on Roku) and went down memory lane. Spotted different towel sewing projects, including that beach tote with pockets and carrying strap! Season 7-the beach party episode! I remember seeing the project in the print magazine.

The scilla or Siberian squill is making up for lost time, carpeting the lawn with open blooms! I think the quartet of crocuses are still viable but next week's weather will crush them.

No tulips open yet. Soon, soon.

This morning to find my focus I got up and did a few hand dishes from last night's dinner. Just a Frying pan and a wooden spoon.

Then I decided to whip up a batch of Whipped Greek Yogurt which I will top with Kiwi and Frozen Blueberries.

Then I got back to work and started working on a few things. Just as I was about to take another break my boss called, a local location has a computer down, could I go take a look either today or tomorrow? I decided it was best to just go as who knows what will be on my plate tomorrow. On my way to the branch, I swung into the Pharmacy to pick up Mom's prescription, she was supposed to pick it up well she was out yesterday but did not think she could make the walk so I told her I would go today or tomorrow.

I got back and started working through some things, trying to work on all the things I told people I would look at in April. How are we already almost halfway through the month? I saw an email that said not needed until June and I thought WOW it's a little early to be sending the email and then I realized it is only 2-weeks away.

Not sure what is up but I was sitting here working away and just after 3 I hit a serious brick wall. I could seriously just lay down and go to sleep. No idea why I am so tired but I am beyond exhausted for some reason, boarding on feeling like I cannot function so I think it will be early to bed tonight.

Changed up our Dinner plans, originally I was thinking Fried Chicken Sandwiches with Sweet Potato Fries but due to how tired I am decided to go a little easier and pulled homemade burgers from the freezer and will go with Oven Fries. I will make a Salad on the side.

@ Sassy- I hit a wall at 3 today too. My big plans to go to Costco were banished quickly lol.

Making dinner now. Shrimp pasta. Using up mushrooms. Bit of this and that. Should be good!

I am enjoying this burst of warm weather and am back on the deck. I love my evenings outside and I know it’s just for few days but it so good for my mind.
I have to get some groceries Wednesday. I only picked up what I needed for dinner on the weekend do the fridge is bare. I have a 5.00 reward on my Cobs card so will pick up buns and we can do sausage on the bbq Wednesday for dinner.

    Good Morning Everyone,
I did not want to get out of bed this morning, I went to bed early, I slept all night but my whole body was like nope, not doing it.

Working on being productive, I am not sure what is up this week but it is becoming a struggle.

Got a few things done for work, caught up on emails and decided to take a shower and see if that perks me up.

I was looking at my schedule last night and I have a lot going on for the rest of the month. I was not aware I had so much on the go. I knew there were things here and there but I did not realize until I look at my calendar how they all fell into place and how busy I was going to be. Honestly, it is a bit overwhelming but all good, I got it.

Need to figure out when I can take a trip to Costco as we need a few things. I had planned to go when I needed to do something else in the same area but now I don't need to do the other thing. Which is kind of throwing a wrench in my plans and why I was looking at my Calendar last night. When did life get so crazy I have to schedule a Costco shop LOL.

It is new flyer day, I have not looked at the new flyers yet. Hoping for a smaller shopping week this week since I also need to go to Costco but it will all depend on the sales.

    Happy Wednesday

Good Morning! Another beautiful sunny say!

Work- Waiting on someone to finish something before I continue on something. Was able to get another project finished while waiting which was great!

Home- Will put a small load of laundry on and hang to dry to keep up on it. Have a few dishes in the sink ready to wash. Will do so when I make breakfast. Just enjoying my coffee right now to get motivated

Guess the casino misses me. They sent me an email for a bonus $75 Free slot play for Saturday. (on top of the $50 they offered this week already) Thinking a drive to Costco will be Saturday. Free breakfast. $125. in free slot play then hit Costco on the way back home!

Hope everyone is able to enjoy the sunshine. What a mood booster it is!

Found the Hellman's coupon. Get $1 off When you purchase ANY participating product. Show picture of diff mayos. Doesn't list the participating products. I just used it on the Hellman's Ranch dressing but cashier was hesitant to take it. Why do they make using coupons so difficult!

Second day of walking through clouds of midges mating in the air while passing a survey. Warm weather is messing with insect biology. Thinking of all the casualties when the cold air sweeps through by Monday.

Left coat at home and tossed a big shirt over my top for warmth. A/C is on at the library and the chill is messing my temperature.

Glad I did two stops in big box land yesterday. First store did not have what I thought was in stock but pivoted and fulfilled another shopping wish there (did not want to waste the visit) and then visited Sobeys for coupons and three grocery items-store was not busy, a few customers but cashiers were waiting for people to show up.

Will put in a little raking time as so many little branches are covering parts of yard. Wind blew some recycling and stuff from other properties yesterday as well. At least I filled the icecube tray with water this morning before I left home so I can have ice with some pop as a treat. Not going to be online the next two days due to temperatures. I was feeling my limit just walking in today!

Noticed that Giant Tiger flyer has a pasta special but the bags are 454g this time, not the 900g of two flyers ago. Oh well.
Entered one contest and am looking for one more. Hope everyone has warm weather plans and insect defense setups to cope with early summer this week! Will see if Mom is going to give the garden a look but she's working on Easter.

The day was moving along nicely, things were getting done and then I got a server error. Turns out one of our Test programs was not set up.

Took a break, and tidied up my chest freezer, so much room in there now. But also feels like we are very stocked up and not much is needed so happy to have the space. Still need to tackle the Standup Freezer, feels like there is stuff everywhere because the bottom basket where I keep Roasts (beef, pork) and whole chickens is full so now I have stuff just floating around the freezer.

I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight, to be honest, I am thinking maybe just leftovers. We still have leftover Lasagna, Pork Tenderloin with Roasted Veggies & Balsamic Chicken with Mushrooms and Mashed Potatoes. Leftovers sound like a good idea to me but will see how Mom feels.

Yippee, they fixed the server error and I can go back to what I was working on, want to get this knocked out today so I do not have to think about it again.

What a beautiful day/evening. Just returned home from walking the dog. Every street I walked was super quiet!
