Time came for him to take the canoe out for its maiden run. Problem 1)how to get it out of the cabin. Easy enough just take out an entire wall. Problem 2)Getting it to the water. Easy enough just level the whole terrain with a backhoe borrowed from work. 3)Launch and use canoe. Now that didn't work out as well as hoped. Started taking on water the second it hit the lake. Now being that he still wanted to experience the canoe he just had a friend with a speed boat hook it up to the back. Viola one canoe ride.
The first problem made me think of NCIS and how Gibbs gets the boats out of the basement. Whatever happened to the canoe after it's first and perhaps final run via speed boat? My goodness, I'm in awe just reading about this adventure you shared with your dad.

Thank you for sharing words cesme77, frugallady19 and cityguy.

Thank you for posting new prizes cesme77 and Anne99.

I love hearing tales of the fur babies, Ricki911. I hope you don'thave to make yet another vet visit. Good luck getting your forms via paper from your old job.

That really stinks, scrapbookingoasis. It must take a long time to gather the points and then find a 'good' deal. Shame that you would've had it if they had only given you your points without you asking for them.

I get a kick outta some of the comments from folks regarding the dares, improperganda. I think more fun that the dare itself most of the times.

I hope you hear back good news from P&P, thesunsethurts.

Thank you for the encouragement as I take baby steps into today's world, star84. I couldn't have done it without user-id's patience in baby stepping me. Funny how I am using today's technology for nostalgia. Wow, I can't believe how vivid the lightning is in the image- terrifying!

Tee hee hee, I think I'll be brave if I share once a week, user-id. I could never be as creative as you and my tastes are dated. The Mini Glider prizes kill me. I think by the time anyone could save up that amount of points, the child would be WAY beyond a learner bike.

Thank you to everyone who checks in with a 'hi', thanx or more!

    Thanks for the words all.

March is here! The "In Like a Lion" thing is holding true.
I only hope it also goes "Out Like a Lamb"...

I had a friend order a few gift cards and one was lost (never came they refused to replace it).
I know what you mean - I had asked for a replacement once and never received it. Took probably a year before I actually got a replacement (after numerous requests). I don't use it a lot but if I can collect points I may as well. So far have only redeemed for movie tickets (cheaper date nights are always nice right)
Collecting Campbell's soup labels for our school RAKs greatly appreciated.
