After nearly one solid hour of listening to my neighbour's car alarm go off, I went & rang their doorbell, then knocked & then pounded on the door. *He* emerged from the basement & finally turned the darn thing off.

I can still hear the honking.

Amazing that he didn't hear it himself... or did it just not bother him???

Daisy just had Mackerel & Sardine in calamari consumme for dinner, Amy had Royal Canine Light! She doesn't go for Sardines the way Daisy does!

Can someone tell me if the pics I posted of my puds came out too big for the screen? On my desktop it looked like they did but then on my laptop they don't look too big!

A few years and two cars ago, I had a Pathfinder that I kept in repair for 12 years. Near the end it had developed a problem in cold weather which would short out the horn switch. We discovered that in the wee hours one night when that annoying horn sound turned out to be in our driveway. I thought at first it was a one-off problem, but it kept on happening each cold night unless I remembered to pull the fuse when I parked. Unfortunately for the neighbours, our bedroom is at the back of the house and I sleep like a log buried in mud covered in leaves under 4 feet of snow.

Plus, as Lucia Loco would say, I am a bonehead.

Just finished painting for the day. I'm sore, tired & hungry.
I should start something for dinner, but I have no energy left.

Well... if my son's gf won, I'm sure that my son and her would have gone... if hubby won, I would hope that he would take me... If I won, I was actually thinking of giving it to my son and his gf as a graduation gift... They have both worked so hard these last 4 years (plus some) and I would have loved to send them away for a week of R&R... She's doing a post grad, but he is so ready to get out of school and get into the "real world".....

When I right click my pictures, I have the option of re-sizing them. I then pick a "medium" size. I'm not sure if my "IT kid" downloaded something to give me that option. If it doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll ask him tomorrow night if there is something you can download to allow you to do this.
