I received an e-mail from our marina this morning saying that they will be launching boats in the next few weeks!!!! And then I got a call from another person at the marina confirming our slip for the season!!!!

Summer is just around the corner!!!

I try to avoid favourtism of any ilk - but I must confess I enjoy your "this season is coming" announcements much more than those from McSkier or Attitash.

evening Q sters,

talk about a windy day!
it kept me awake most fo friday night & it hasn't let up all day. i'm surprised i'm still awake. getting all caught up since i missed yesterday. spent yesterday morning at doctors appointments, the vampire clinic, where they needed 6 vials of my blood & an ekg. this is all my yearly physical, nothing serious(i hope). got home around lunch time which was good due to having to fast for the vampires. after lunch went down the passport office to get my passport renewed. they said i would have it back on the 16th of march. this is great incase i win one of the trips of the day, as well as going to chicago this summer. it took an hour & a half of sitting around waiting to get that done. brought my book to read while waiting. did a bit of grocery shopping when done then home. it wasn't cold or windy out by the time i got home, that didn't happen till later on. today was spent finding all my receipts for tax purposes & getting rodent's stuff together to sent to her for her taxes. hope everyone didn't get too blown away today.

maybe they should fire the GM as well while they're at it.

MicheleM would like me to say hello to everyone on her behalf.

She feels that things for her are starting to come together. Her house closed yesterday & she is feeling life moving ahead for her.

She is one determined & strong lady & I sure miss her on here.

Michele thinks of us often & who knows, maybe she will come back for a visit one of these days soon.

Gentlemen: A funny story...

Ed and Nancy met while on a singles cruise and Ed fell head over heels for her.

When they discovered they lived in the same city only a few miles apart Ed was ecstatic.

He immediately started asking her (Nancy) out when they got home.
Within a couple of weeks, Ed had taken Nancy to dance clubs, restaurants, concerts, movies, and museums.


Ed became convinced that Nancy was indeed his soul mate and true love.


Every date seemed better than the last.

On the one-month anniversary of their first dinner on the cruise ship, Ed took Nancy to a fine restaurant. While having cocktails and waiting for their salad, Ed said, "I guess you can tell I'm very much in love with you. I'd like a little serious talk before our relationship continues to the next stage.


So, before I get a box out of my jacket and ask you a life changing question, it's only fair to warn you, I'm a total golf nut. I play golf, I read about golf, I watch golf on TV. In short, I eat, sleep, and breathe golf. If that's going to be a problem for us, you'd better say so now!"

Nancy took a deep breath and responded, "Ed, that certainly won't be a problem. I love you as you are and I love golf too; but, since we're being totally honest with each other, you need to know that for the last five years I've been a hooker."

Ed said, "I bet it's because you're not keeping your wrists straight when you hit the ball."

i've been flipping thru the channels & came across "The Best of Soul Train". , the outfits that they're wearing! were they really that bad in the 70's? they've had lou rawls, the jackson 5, aretha franklin & smokie robinson & james brown on. OW, i feel good.
tha hair styles, mostly those big afros, but what kills me are the clothes. the green & brown checked suit that james brown was wearing.........ew.
