Hello!😏Cellphone internetting is tedious. Just read the last two pages of thread to catch up.
Random store news spotted during Johnny Strides' Sunday livestream: he had page of Reddit Toronto topics showing and I saw that Simons will open stores in Nordstroms' former locations in Toronto EatonCentre and Yorkdale shopping malls next year.😍

Was not intending to spend carbon rebate but noticed last duo ink pack for Canon PIXMA printer at home was marked down to $60! At my local Shoppers-there are four Canon 241/240 ink pkgsleft on shelf.Could not leave that deal alone. Happened to purchase 8ml black ink cartridge at Walmart on Wed so ink is truly stocked.
Treated myself to print acx polo style shirt and blue cargo pants that are roomy and vented at Giant Tiger. First time seeing Bell reps in-store to sell cell plans.Gave one the rundown of issues recently with telecom and indicated why I will go to Freedom for basic cdawide plan soon.
Am trying to get current with flyers. Can count on Cdn Tire to be delivered but other store flyers can vary.Raddar has not delivered flyers since push last fall when local weekly paper ended print delivery.
Glad for cooler day today-yesterday bit trying.More heat coming so l am about cool food and drinks.
No storm has come by this afternoon. There was quite a red banner last night during 6pm news about two areas in tornado watch mode with large hail-on Global news but not on Chch.

@lizzie bargain , I find you have be looking at everything when you shop. I know so many people who say they buy the name brand to save money. Recently at both Costco and No Frills I have found the name brand is more expensive. I feel like stores are banking customers who do not check and just think what probably used to be true, Name Brand = Cheaper.

Cooler weather today means soup for dinner is acceptable so I’m making potato soup using potatoes obviously, some garlic, shallots, mini carrots, veg broth and tofu as a thickener and protein. Once it’s partially blended I’ll add nooch for the cheesy flavour.

I kinda find it fun to play Chopped when it comes to dinner. What’s in the fridge/pantry and GO!

    Good Morning Everyone,
I woke up at 5 this morning was going to get up but fell back asleep which is good because I know I needed the sleep.

I feel like I should be cleaning today but I really want to spend the day in the kitchen so I think I might do that instead. I do have some produce prep I need to do plus I would like to do some baking. I would like to make some snacks I can just grab. So we shall see.

Trying to figure out dinner for tonight, I was originally thinking Ribs as we have some in freezer but I will be honest, I am not the biggest fan, I would prefer a chicken breast, but I thought it would be something different for Mom. But now I am thinking maybe Meatloaf, we were going to have Meatloaf Monday night but since we couldn't make any sides due to having no water we did breakfast instead.

I have not meal planned in awhile but maybe today is the day, honestly, I feel like life is such chaos right now but hopefully this week will be a little calmer.

    Happy Saturday Everyone

@lilo0003 ( you did a massive ct shop for your house ) @Ciel21 (you post in the canadian tire program Swap thread)....you seems to be aware of the program.

For those who use the Triangle reward program at Canadian Tire I have a question:

I start using this program and dowload the offers because I want in the nearly future purchase a Air Fryer and a SodaStream machine.

What are the best sales and best price for purchasing really worthing these 2 products???

And is that always the same offers that appears when I want to SWAP in the bank offers???

The offer are valid 1 week or...??? It change on Friday I can reload the news offers or what???

Is that the points offers are additionning...For example I have 2 offers on SodaSream this week not the same wording...Will I have the 2 or the just the one more advantageous???

Thanks for your attention and input.

@harbie... I had an issue sometime ago and it turned out that the clock on my computer was at the wrong time. Once I reset it to the correct time, the issue was resolved. Hope this helps.

Went to NF this rainy morning to get more strawberries but the only 2 they had were small so I passed but did get more hummus and casa mendosa tortillas so that will get me 22 Airmiles plus 10C on Caddle.

RCSS had NO strawberries (I'm looking to get the 2lb size to pm to freshco for $4.97). I'll have to check it freshco when I go to full up the car. I ended up getting 8 jars of PC pasta sauce (2/$5) used points so $0 oop

Then save on foods for thier sparkling water @$4.49 ea, silk creamer and getting 75c on CO51, Nuun effervescent packs for $7.99 and PM'd soyganics tofu for $2.99. Received 130 SOF points.

Grabbed 2 free McDonald's coffees. Iced for me and cold for dh .

@cath007 I consider myself and expert on the triangle program and I also paid for triangle select last year. With the new (old) house in Nova Scotia it’s more than paid for itself. To answer your question the offers reset each Friday and they do stack so if you have an offer for 10x the soda stream and are able swap for 5x then you get 15x. I always swap out the same stuff that I know I will never use likes sports equipment. I would also wait until you get the 20x and then stack it with an instore offer. So the day I did the patio furniture was a 30x event in store that day only but my personal offers stacked. But a caveat if you are using your CT money to pay you will get the multiplier on your offers but not instore offer.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.
