I just went to shoppers seniors day for me i got milk
(2) Carols daughter shampoo and a tub of conditioner 8.99 plus 11.99 prices i never pay on sale mind you -8,000 points when you buy 2 =6.49 each
i love trying new shampoos never know if i may like it.

Plus my shoppers had beautifull tropical plants on a small table 12.00-20%=9.60 i bought a puperoni so pretty .I love my indoor plants and havent bought one in years other than the coffee plant and elephant plant (both of those are stuggling right now )

Then popped over to sobeys got the chips on sale ruffles sour cream and bacon -my grandson loves as he is coming sunday or monday 2.77 each
and pasta sauce that was on sale.

Drowning in a sea of milk.

Lots of 4-litre choc milk at Walmart with 4 days left before Sell By date. Alas, could only fit two into the freezer.

My zucchini plant is crazy. Just when I think I have it under control I find another huge one. Today I shredded 6 cups for the freezer and also froze some spiralized zucchini. Dinner tonight was spaghetti and meat sauce, I added spiralized zucchini and it was really good. The butternut squash looks like it will also produce a lot. For two cheap packages of seeds I am pretty impressed.

Busy couple of days but good days.

Wednesday I was in one of the plants helping a trainee move from Test Company to Live Company. On my way home I did stop and grab a few groceries before the sales changed. I went to No Frill to grab:

Yesterday I attended a Vendor BBQ in a branch plus did a bunch of stuff in that branch. After the BBQ I stopped and grabbed some groceries:

1 x White Tortillas $2.50 (No Frills)
1 x Whole Wheat Tortillas $2.50 (No Frills)
1 x Plum Sauce 1L $3.49 (No Frills)
2 x Sour Cream $2.44 (No Frills)
1 x Ground Beef $10 (No Frills) - Normally I do not buy the $10 but we were out of Taco Meat and I forgot to check the price of Ground Beef at Costco so this will get us through until I go to Costco or find a sale.

We are all stocked up now, gotta do some prep this weekend.

Right now I am just trying to get through today, I am not sure if it is weather coming in. We are supposed to get storms for the next 2 or 3 days and my head and face are feeling it. I have taken some meds and tried a hot shower and the banging in my headache has stopped but still my check bone does not want to be part of my face and my ear is bugging me so bad. Hoping it gets better.

Almost time for social committee for work.

This morning i went to a girlfriends house stayed for 3 hours had a lovely salad and fruit salad for dessert.Then she gave me a bag of tomatoes from her garden and fresh basil.

May clean the bathrooms as having company on sat.

I was off today so we drove to the South shore for lunch. It’s about an hour for us, then we headed along the water and went to Lunenburg for ice cream and wandered around for a bit. The weather was perfect and we came home to leftovers as no one was really hungry after our day out.

Good Morning Everyone,
I woke up this morning thinking oh I should do this, oh and this and oh I can do that but then reality set in when I sat up, this sinus headache is still here, it is not as bad as yesterday, just hoping it doesn't get worse as storms are supposed to start this afternoon.

I am all up in the feels and not enjoying it. We have Mom's appointment this week with the new surgeon to see if he will accept her as a patient and although neither one of is saying much I think we are both super anxious and worried.

Plus I hate to admit but I have been so overwhelmed and just really feeling how things have changed. I hate feeling this way because I know it is so much harder on Mom. I just feel like I cannot keep up with everything I need to do between work and home and what Mom needs done and I know how fortunate I am that I can do it all but some days I just feel like it is never ending. There is never a moment where I can sit down and say I am all caught up, life feels like one huge priority spiral of what needs to be done vs what can be put off but the spiral never ends.

Maybe it is just because my house is a complete disaster and needs my attention but I need to go help dad's side of the family and now feel like there is no way I will get everything done this weekend. Or maybe it is just life.

Alright Stepmom is there and everyone is till at least an hour or so out so I will go since I am the closest.

Sassy -it is hard to feel pulled in all directions ,maybe take time for your self each or or even say no the odd time.
My dear daughter says mom i feel like i am a hamster on an endless wheel as work is ramping up and it is go go go .So the next 2 weeks she gets to work from home which she said will be nice .She is coming here for sunday-thursday morning so i may take Sebastian to the show if we have as much rain as they say .

Today my dear brother and his girlfriend are suppose to come but alas he didnt call me back last night to confirm -i bought extra fruit to make a fruit tray and raw broccoli and cheese tray with crackers .Must be a guy thing i bet sisters dont have this problem !

Yes my brother and his girlfriend are coming around 1.00 i have a veggie tray and fruit tray made up ,i also have a small gift for her 2 tea towels,dish cloth and 3 pairs of ladies socks plus a pair of socks for my brother all for under 10-love stocking up on bargains also to give as small gifts thruout the year .

It is funny how the world works some days. My Stepmom needed help today as we needed to move stuff for their renovation, and I won't lie, I was like why this weekend and honestly I kept trying to come up with a reason not to go. But this morning she texted I am here where is everyone, and everyone said they were an hour and a half to 2 hours out and since I live 15 minutes away said I would head over as she was alone. Not a lot I could do as I cannot lift dressers but we laid down all the cardboard and got everything ready so once the boys got there it only took 45 minutes and they were done.

But, well the boys worked, me and sis-in-law walked around and she took pics for our social media since the renos are being done in our products. We got to chat and hang out and then we all minus Stepmom went out for lunch and it was just what I needed. It was so simple but so needed, just a little break.

Also, it isn't just brothers, sisters can be the same.

Good Morning Everyone,
Well this morning did not go as planned. I woke up at 5 am was wide awake and thought oh I will do some reading and then get up. Guess who fell back asleep and it was 8 am.

I have a feeling it is going to be a slow day here which is fine but I do need to do some prep today. I do not have a plan but I know I have a ton of produce that needs to be prepped.

Yesterday when I got home I was in a much better mood so I tackled my work basket which has been overflowing for a couple of months. Mainly because it was work, personal stuff and crochet so I cleaned that up. Now I can get to all of my notebooks but I still need to sort all my pretty markers.

I am crocheting a bag I can put my markers in when I work in branch so I can take them with me. This has been a challenge as I could not find a pattern I liked so I decided to try to write one myself which I have done before but I think I am on attempt 5. It was not working with me but I think I finally got it.

Last night for dinner we tried a new recipe called Chinese Chicken and Mushrooms, I think it was a Panda Express Copycat recipe, it was good, I would make it again but I think I could increase the veggies.

Tonight's dinner is a mystery I was doing so well the start of last week and now I feel like I am in a food funk. I know I am overthinking it, I know both of us need to lose weight and I feel like it is on me since I do most of the cooking and it causing me to overthink everything. I always feel like I can pick a better meal but I get so in my head that all of a sudden it is 5 pm and I have no plan. Also lately, I feel like I just eat way more veggies than she does, like I can whip myself up a salad but half of what I put in my salad she won't eat including some days the lettuce, UGH.

I also started to try to organize my life last night as I thought it might help me feel better so I made some of my bullet journal pages. I know it sound so weird but just sitting here and drawing the graphs is so relaxing to me.

I drove out to Vancouver Island yesterday for the week. Spotted some whales in the distance from the ferry. I used guest points from Home Exchange to book a little suite. I have deer visiting out back which is nice-they seem very tame and seem to be enjoying the blackberries and crabapples growing out there. My DH is down in Illinois visiting the reles and DD is flying down today to join him.

So this week has been crazy with work (had to work another Saturday too ).

We had a huge windstorm last night out of nowhere (they did say it was coming on the news but 8 don’t watch the news anymore). It was hot and humid all day and then while we were sleeping the winds came with some thunder, lightning and rain! There went my sleep!

Yesterday was one of the biggest hardest days I’ve had in a while and I’ve had some doozies. Dh took me for sushi after since I hadn’t eaten since 6am that morning and it was 4:45pm. The waitress was a tad rude and commented that she had never seen anyone order 4 rolls ( I had avocado/cucumber rolls) for just one person even though Dh literally ordered 4 rolls ( 2 of each). Made me feel like I needed to explain to her that I hadn’t eaten since 6 and my job is insanely physical ( trust me you could tell by the way I looked ). Ok, mini rant over.

We have to visit Dh’s family as his uncle is up from Georgia later today. His stepbrother invited us a couple of weeks ago but decided to text us Friday night that we needed to bring beer( he knows Dh doesn’t drink anymore) and I need to bring dessert. Thing is I had worked all week including Friday and then all day Saturday and have ZERO time to make anything. If I purchase something it’s something Dh and I can’t eat being we're vegan. Not too happy with him now.

On the frugal side Dh got a big box of juicy blueberries from a customer of his for free! (No im not bringing the for dessert, they’re all mine
