Gray day. Not wishing to expose my recently washed runners to the salty stuff today. Am online window shopping at the Canadian Tire site.
$4.99 Terry's chocolate orange mint is listed in the flyer. Shoppers has more varieties for $4.99 ending today.
Made use of my square baking pan-apple crumble is in the oven. Couldn't get enough loose wild blueberries out of the frozen chunk in bag. Heat is marvellous.
Still having light switch on and off hot flashes. I had some seaweed earlier in the day. A few freeze pops lurk in the freezer if I need them.
Have to get the book tomorrow and finish the gift box. Tea has been such a reliable companion."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

talking about ducking driving when the snow hits. My plan today was to take another load over to Value Village. However, I needed the guys
to load the vehicle up with everything and they downright refused! lol. It was for my safety as they said driving back from work the roads were
slippery.
So I stayed put today, then of all things one of those organizations that picks stuff up called and I figured I'll just do that with this load. Value Village
has been the recipient of all of my past loads so this is fine. Saves me the trek!

Well done!
Just because you might have reached a (hopefully) temporary plateau, don't be discouraged. Allow your body to acclimate to your new metaboloic level. Holding steady for a month or two should be just fine. In fact, it stabilizes you in the long term and makes it that much more difficult to exceed your current weight.
I, too, am trying to get past my currently stubborn level. I may drop below it, but then I creep back up to it or exceed it. When I exceed it, I drop back to it much more quickly, too.
If you are really depressed, you can always visit a sauna. I can often drop 10 pounds or more on a hot summer day. I know that it is all water-weight, but it still feels good to step on the scale after a long sweaty hike. Of course, I know that it all comes back after drinking a litre or two of water. Still, it gives me a momentary glimpse of what is possible. My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Hmm, that crumble was shallow in the 8inch square pan. Next time I will either use the rectangular 9x5 toaster oven pan or double the recipe for square pan. The crumble was yummy and nothing is left. Got permission to use the frozen berry packs that brother still has in the freezer so one pack would suit a double batch of crumble.
Have two buttons to sew onto a shirt and some small tasks to complete. Supper will be pasta surprise. Maybe assemble a second crumble for evening tea. So pleased I found the $3.99 Robin Hood oats (recipe calls for rolled but I buy quick cook variety) at Sobeys last week. Will compile a Canadian Tire list and see what personal offers surface tomorrow.
No Frills text contest is posted as store 300 opens for the chain. Finally saw the teeny print as I thought rules would be printed on flyer's last page."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Last year, I had found two types of Laura Secord hard candies in tins on sale at Rexall. I did notice that Metro's current flyer has a tall jar of the candies for $15 something. The only other Laura Secord options I have locally are salted caramel chocolates at Longos and milk chocolates (I have seen two box types in the past) at Walmart. It is rare to see Laura Secord boxed anything at Shoppers Drug Mart. Jellifruit is basically enough reason to head to a Laura Secord shop.

Sorry of not posting since a while I still read all the posts but my mind is just not there....
I so need to rant myself before I explode...
I am beyond annoying, pissed and tiring because my father dont want to quit smoking.
That looks like smoking is so important in his life....And more important that her daughter, his familly and he dont care about having friends..that is sad...
The Nicorettes patchs did not works. He did not put them at all and skipping days.
I care about him, remind him did you change your patch, did you put on your patch. The more I cared the less he was.... He is not
interestedin group support, doctor, pharmacist or smoke free line and chat,,,
Now it is a subject of argument between me and him and me with his familly.
He dont care to change.I will finish alone...More close day by day of his death because He dont make efforts to change his bad habit....
If I had the money I would just move somewhere else.
I am very tired of this fight.
The surgery ..he still pass tests and his on a long waiting list..I said why you are doings tests and will be operated if you dont want to change...His response...MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS...
wow
He have difficulties to just walks...that is so insane
I an so tired of this...I hope it will ends somedays rather soon than later...
Sorry....
Sorry that it could be mean...but...I have enough...The goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!
I love to save money!!! Frugal life hahaah !!!

Hello to you all,
Sorry of the negativity of my post,if you dont want to read it just dont...I will understand
First of all,I still read all of yours posts, that is the joy to the sanity of my days...
I went last week for a doctor appointement,,It was a nightmare....Really it does.I have more than before high blood pressure and they cannot find the doctor
have difficulties to find the right pill to respond to slow my blood pressure. And oh my good shock ...I am now diabetic....That is a nightmare...
I feel worse than ever...mentally and physically emotionnaly....Always dizzyness...drop of pressure, head heache and nauseous.I cannot make it to the groceries
stores anymore .I dont want to put me in a critic situation. So I eat of what I have stock up my fridge and freezer....
No support from familly,My father say to me it is my own fault to become diabetic, just as my mother was.....That I do nothing good in life and that I am a
disaster human...So I try to live in my bredroom or the night when he is sleeping.
I so miss my dear mother and my brother ,they where not acting like that with me.
So...I slowly try to make me plans to go live at another place..But the appart are so unnafortable right now.I would like a place where I can bring my beloved
cat Eve,the only sense of joy in my pathetic life right now....
I will see of they are any programs I could receive money from or be in a room..I dont know..I feel so lost and tired...The goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!
I love to save money!!! Frugal life hahaah !!!

yes @cath007 your posts indicate you have certainly reached the end of your ability to help your Father. He seems to misunderstand the concern you have
for him is based on love and wanting him to extend his life. You have done about all you can for him, now just start to take care of you!
Take the diabetic meds ( if you were given any ? ) to keep your diabetes under control. The blood pressure can also be regulated with meds, but it's more important to stay clear of your Father's stress. ( if possible ) .
We do read your posts and share a community concern for you....(((hugs always )))
