I chatted with my daughter last night and she told me once you are past 60 sickness hangs on she read it somewhere.How is it Ashlyn is fine ,but i get the brunt of her cold.

My dear son is 40 today ,i just called and he had to work today safety training .He told me him and his family are going to kelseys tonight for wings -nice.

Well i noticed milk went up in price 6.25 at shoppers i think it was 6.09 before of course with the seniors discount i paid 5.00.I did save on tylenol cold meds 10.39 after discount plus i had a 3.00 cpn .

Voted got my milk and losenzes and cold meds and i am home now.

@flemeth , I am not sure if they made friends with the people who hang them up or what but I have seen posts and reels of people saying today is coupon day and them getting to the store to find a full tear pad, what they look like after they leave, that is another story.

Last year it was very hit and miss here sometimes they seemed to cleared out the moment they went up and other times I would notice week after week as I did my shopping there would still be some hanging up.

Personally, I only grab them if it is something we consume on a regular basis, I am trying to cut out all of the oddities. What can I say I am a sucker for a deal sometimes which just leads to them living in my pantry until either I just decide we are going to eat them or I find something to do with them. Now I am not saying try new things is bad but I just need to be more realistic with myself and ask if it wasn't on sale with a coupon would I buy it and usually the answer is no. I just really feel a need to simplify things.

@Frugalbigmama , I used to do the same thing with the fast food coupons, I would keep them even though we never used them. Now I have just asked the post office to stop putting all of those things in my mailbox, let's save some paper.

Good Evening Everyone,
I was back in the branch this morning to finish training. A number of our outside storage areas are not holding up well with all this snow so they have been bracing them and fixing them this week. One of them had a bit of a lean to it yesterday but last night snow came off the roof and actually shifted it, a crane came in to try to move it so I decided since there was heavy equipment coming in and out of where I was parked it was a good time to leave, we were done training.

It was snowing when I went to work this morning but it stopped by 10 am, we probably got a few cemeteries but it had melted by the time I was done at work so I decided to run into No Frills on my way home to grab a few of the new sales, I got:
2 x Strawberries $1.94
1 x Garlic 3-pack $0.99
1 x No Name Apples 6 lbs $3.99
1 x No Name Cucumbers 2lbs $4.50
3 x Zucchini $0.99/lb
2 x Russet Potatoes 10 lbs $1.99
2 x Asparagus $1.88/bunch (PM Food Basics)
4 x Fries $2

I was not sure if they would price match the Asparagus as last time I tried they told me even though they were selling them in 325g packages just like the store that had it on sale they actually sold it by the pound and could not price match it unless the ad gave a per pound price. I mentioned your price is each and there price is each but they said the computer would reject so I was prepared to walk out without it if they would not price match but I got it.

Spent my afternoon checking Homework, I worked a little late to get it done, got through the session only to realize there were still 3 pages to go but I was done so they will get checked tomorrow.

Dinner was supposed to Roast Beef but it wasn't cooked and we weren't hungry so instead just making Roast Beef Sandwiches.

I did notice a lot of coupons in the dairy section, none of the blue symbol ones those were cleared but there were other coupons, I did not go up and down the aisles as I knew it would tempt me especially since it was lunch.

TGIF!! We made it to the weekend! We had a light dusting of snow overnight.

Dinner last night was good. We have rice and some chicken left. No plan for tonight so DS can have the leftovers and will figure out dinner. May have a late
lunch and then just snack for dinner. It feels like that kind of day.

I popped out this morning for a Mcdonald's coffee and was going to go to RCSS but didn't feel like it. Maybe later today. I feel shopped out. It is crazy how much I have spent the past 2 weeks...yes did stock up on some things (cheese/chicken) I do want to get canned tomatoes at Foodland.

Ok have a work project to get out of the way and then I can think about the weekend! Expect it to be a quiet work day so should be able to finish it today.

Coupons for dairy can be in front of product or in cereal aisles or some random place in Loblaws owned grocery banners.
I noticed that Shoopers Drug Mart has a digital coupon link when I looked at my PC Opt offers yesterday. I have started to add digital coupons for products to try or might buy. There is a coupon at Fortinos for Schneiders breakfast bites, $2 off. Good as I tried one variety about 3 wks ago and they retail around $6+. I also add digital coupons from No Frills and RCSS in case they might lead to future pts offer.
Shoppers has been increasing prices sice mid-January. I do appreciate their 20% off coupon days and noticed past two coupons were for Tues or Wed use. That helps us if one day is easier than the other. And you do not have to be an Optimum member to use it. Just can get discount on regular priced items.

@Giseledta I am not seeing any bonus point Triangle offers in flyer but Marks.com is showing up to 30% off on footwear.
I have not checked Triangle rewards offers or swaps yet. Hope you did for Marks offer multipliers or get $x wus $xx offers.
For the past three weeks, flyers have not been coming to our mailbox. Been behind on flyers as dealing with some pain and other issues.

My mail has been behind i didnt recieve the electra bill or my visa yet ,so went online to check out what i owe .I did get my $78 checkout51 check today will use that for our haircuts in march .

Feeling a lot better today my voice is still off ,no drippy nose so that a great thing,no sore throat so i can count my blessings i guess still sneezing the odd time.
Not shopping til weekend or next week .

Good Morning Everyone,
Ever have one of those days where you are determined to have a good day but you feel like the world around you is kind of laughing at you.

I knew I was up to 5 trainees which is usually when my world becomes chaos, 3 or more equals chaos for me especially when they are all in different locations across Ontario. I thought I had 5 turns out it might be 7. Also I was given the wrong start for one so I am again double-booked.

I am trying my best to be like I got this all is good but deep down I know it is going to be chaos but I am going to do my best to achieve what I need to achieve and not let it knock me down. Last year when we hired 6 in 5 weeks and I feel like my world crumbled a little bit but I am going to try my best to not let that happen again.

I did decide today is sheet washing day, my bedding is going now and I will have Mom toss hers down to go in next.

I have so much I need to get this weekend but realistic nothing is getting done. I am attending a funeral and will probably need a day to do nothing.

When I end up in situations where I have so many trainees and so much going on, I really need my weekends to decompress but looking at it almost every weekend we have something going on. Maybe it is my introvert side but I feel like I need recovery time to decompress and prepare for the next week.

Goals for today, check Homework, set up next week's training, wash the bedding and clean the kitchen, if I get all this done I will be happy.
