I am not sure if it is writing but I was told at Freshco in Ontario it is not just about the location of the store but also the "type" of store they are.
The Freshco closest to me told me they are not allowed to Price Match Zehrs (Which is less than 5 minutes away) or Sobey because they are considered "High End" Grocery Stores. They can only price match "discount" stores so Food Basics, No Frills, Wal-Mart and RCSS, although I do not believe RCSS is a discount grocery store.
But it is like anything, stores are making it harder and harder to price match. It is the same as points programs.
It sounds like I am not alone in PC Points seem to be Spend X get Y and like others have mentioned rarely will I spend that much in one transaction or even in one week. I should not say I never use these offers and I believe I have done them for Tea or Eggs but it is rare. A couple weeks ago I had spend $30 on condiments which for some might be easy since I stock up when on sale I do not think I have ever spend $30 even when on sale in on transaction.
Right now points are a bonus and I know I am not collecting points like I used too.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@SassyAshley : Yes.Points are a bonus for me too now.
2 weeks ago I did not think I spend so much and I dont count coupons and digital coupons but they are included in the amount spend like cash so it missed me like 12$ to have my 18750 points wub 125$ .
So I went back and purchased 4 l milk and another thing I knew I would buy anyway next week to get the points. The goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Can I please speak to someone about having a time change and full moon in the same week because I am not okay. My sleep has been so horrible this week and as much as I am trying to smile and be happy perky me, I am struggling a little bit right now.
Yesterday I was in the office doing training helping some of our newer staff understand our processes.
Today is a work from home day but I feel like a dog with a squirrel, I keep getting in a million directions. But I am taking it one task at a time.
I did think about grocery shopping today, we don't really need anything just want to take advantage of some of the sales but I don't feel like going out today so I am not.
I would like to say I will get a bunch of things done after work but I am going to be honest, nope I am counting down until I can just curl on the couch and do nothing so that is the plan for tonight.
Happy Thursday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Not really sure what you mean by "Outlook e-mail address for your Hotmail account about 2018". I have been logging into Outlook via the portal. I used to be able to download my mail directly onto my desktop, but that capability ended years ago. Now, I cannot even log into my hotmail via their portal. It goes to the log-in screen and it is just blank. No ability to even enter my log-in credentials. Just a totally white screen window.
I might be able to get into Outlook via the phone, but have not tried. I am able to read my hotmail via a Win7 laptop. My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

The glorious snow is back!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Nature's freezer is back for at least another week. Yippee.
Alas, now to go shovel it.My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

@SassyAshley I knew a full moon was happening but I only knew about the lunar eclipse from tonight's news. Hope you get your rest & recreation time tonight. And that tomorrow feels better.
About prices, coupons and points: I do not always look for the lowest price online. Digital flyers are best absorbed and read on laptops and desktops but really hard to peruse on smaller devices. Sometimes on a list of 10 items, I might only get the most needed items and if they are not on sale, I may have to pay full retail for the needed items and leave the other items on the list. My biggest worry is that some items in the grocery store that are not Canadian produced will become too expensive to buy and possibly sold in fewer stores. That financial cost and availability pressure is harder for households on limited monthly incomes, combined with transit/access/mobility concerns.
I am pleased that apps, cashback incentives, and personal offers are helping members find opportunities to save or get rewarded. The price rodeo is going to be a ride and we are all MacGyvering to manage that ride!

@HermanH there was a time that Hotmail and Live email addresses got converted into Outlook ones. I remember using the old email address on and off but the Outlook version only twice to check if my password worked on both versions of the addresses.
Is there an option to update the XP operating version to Vista for free on your device? To get past the white screen? Hope the phone can access Outlook for you.

I think that the online portal was through Outlook.
https://outlook.live.com/
Now, it only sends me to https://www.microsoft.com/
When I try to log into my acct, I get the white screen of death.
So many sites now unavailable to me due to XP. Even my local 311 portal (https://edmonton.ca/edmonton311app) is totally unworkable. It returns:

Walked into RCSS and found a couple of one-day-left-before-best-date chubs at the deli for $1.50/100g
Normally, I would be happy to lucky to find them, as they were usually $0.90/100g or $0.94
I asked why they weren't more highly discounted and the staff told me that they weren't going to be that cheap any more.
These are Canadian products and they just jumped 50% in final price.
Sigh, everyone should realize that RCSS and every other grocer is going to try and hide behind the tariff war to gouge customers. Every increase (just like the supposed supply-chain problems and inflation) are simply going to be blamed on tariffs. Of course, we brought it upon ourselves. When we tell the grocer cartel that we are willing to pay more 'just to support Canadian goods', they saw us as stupid enough to pay more for everything, INCLUDING Canadian products.
I can't even blame RCSS totally. After all, if we tell them how willing we are to pay more, why shouldn't they increase their own cut? i.e. Those dummies are willing to pay to boast about their patriotism and signal their virtue, why should we take our cut first?
Well done, Galen. My hat's off to you.My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Good Morning Everyone,
Was up early, wide awake at 5 am so figured I would start my day.
I ended up working late last night as my boss had some stuff he needed done ASAP. Part of me wants to hope I can knock out my work day and maybe be done a little early today but I do not know if that will happen. There is so much going on right now it feels never ending. But I would prefer to get it done today so I don't have to work this weekend.
The plan for this weekend is just trying to get things done. There are no lack of things in my house that need to be done so I will just see what I can get done and go from there.
Now that it is starting to feel like spring and I am coming out of my winter funk I just want to get everything out of my house LOL. I am ready to start some good deep cleaning but I also know I have to listen to the face, the headaches are getting better but when I push myself too hard and don't listen to my face it can lead to a pounding headache.
Happy Friday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Time for lunch, using up the last of my Greek Bowl stuff I cut up on the weekend. I have used all Chicken, Garlic Garlic Sauce and Feta but still have Lettuce, Cucumbers and Rice left. Might make wraps tomorrow to use up the lettuce and cucumbers. Thinking I might try freezing the rice in my soup cubes I like the idea of having Rice I can defrost if I want/need for my lunch. Oh and I have peppers left but I think I might make Chicken parm this weekend so I will add these to the pasta with some mushrooms and zucchini.
Since I did not shop yesterday I was going to go at Lunch today but honestly, I do not feel like it so I am not. There is nothing we need, just wanted to take advantage of some sale items so I will grab those next week.
I was having issue focusing this morning. When I work from home I usually have the TV going in the background, I need the noise so I decided at the end of each show I would take a break and tackle something I could get done in 10 to 15 minutes. Didn't get anything too major done but I did wipe down the bathroom so I won't have to do it on the weekend and the dishwasher has been emptied. Hoping if I get a few things done today, I can focus on other things tomorrow.
Since I didn't go shopping will have to prep based on what we have on hand which I do not see being an issue. I will pull some stuff from the freezer and use it up to make room as I have some ideas on how I would like to switch up what we keep on hand. Since no one knows what is to come I really want to focus on our staples.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
