It is likely the postal service. Delays exist so your coupons will show much later.
First time in 6 weeks, flyers (3 food, 3 furniture, 1 real estate and April Moneysaver) came in today's mail. We were receiving only addressed mail since March.

Funny--my John Frieda item is distributed in Canada by Kao Canada, same entity that distributed the Vidal Sassoon hair styling products about 9-10 years ago. The spray is made in Canada but smells vaguely coconut though no ingredient is obviously coconut in the list.
@SassyAshley wow, Sun-Brite produces Unico and Primo sauces. First one tastes sour to me and second one tastes just right. Love Primo pizza sauces except hot variety. Maybe I need to stockpile the squeeze bottles rather than cans. How telling that our country has no can company? If one were to open, it would need other product lines to stay open if the can side has economic ups and downs.

So Shoppers clearance items were kind of limited at Mountain plaza. Two baby diaper sizes, one size of adult incontinence product, $2.99 veggie apple strawberry Cheerios on front rolling rack with a bin of odds and ends and a few makeup items on the back shelves. Had a chat with another shopper about how it helps to look at different stores for variety in clearance or for food items.
Store had round acrylic holders advertising Pepsi Cherry or Zero Sugar Cherryfor $3.69 but could not find product, nor any green apple Gatorade. But Dollarama had the $1.50 cherry pop...score!
Denningers does not have Nivea soap bars in its personal care section. St. Dalfour jams and spreads are $4.99. I purchased a sliced Calabrese loaf and $2.99 Ritter milk chocolate bar with hazelnut (reg. $4.99) from a small clearance rack by the paper napkin tower. I did see a Smarties Ritter bar display by the checkout lane and did not handle it as I had my perfect bar. While the store had shoppers, only one cashier was ringing customers through. Usually two lanes are open but peak period must have not been 4pm.

@lizzie bargain I read that Alberta is getting snow soon. Phoenix, Arizona had its first 100F day yesterday. Seems like the snow is playing tag with you.
@HermanH your walks will require those gloves and bags if your area also gets a snow refresher.
Was surprised that a bit of snow was on the ground this morning in shaded areas. We had flurries for most of yesterday but it really did not linger. Strange to see salt trucks three days this week.
I am running out of cool weather to do branch pruning as a few trees show buds now. Did a little raking to clean up an area. So many little pieces.

I heard the same, regarding wet snowfall forecasts. Alas, I spent the day washing and stowing my cold weather gear.
Sigh, with all good things, some rain must fall. I was washing my teapot in the sink and dropped it just slightly, but enough to break off the handle. It must have fallen just right, as it was only an inch or two above the sink.My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Good Morning Everyone,
Woke up this morning and thought about going to Costco, there are a few things on sale I want to get but most will still be on sale next week so I talked myself out of it. The things we actually need not things I just want will still be on sale and let's be honest, I know myself if I go to Costco even if I get there when they open and am home early I won't get anything else done today. This is why I try not to leave the house on the weekend because if I go out if it is just a quick trip somewhere local once I get back my body is like okay we accomplished something we are good.
I did get a few things done around the house yesterday, not as much as I would have liked but that is life. Since I had, had some longer hours last week and this week I was hoping to be done work early but I got on a roll and just kept going so I could get the project done and not have to think about it next week.
I see my strawberries I just bought had some marks on them now so I decided to go ahead and wash my produce today. I did not have a lot to be washed, I bought a ton of produce this week but I only prewash some as I find others go bad faster if I prewash them. I have Strawberries and Cucumbers soaking in a vinegar soak in the sink.
I have a good start to my meal plan for the week but still need a few more recipes. I was kind of surprised I suggested some of Mom's favourite last night and not that she doesn't like it but she choose Mozzarella Chicken which normally I pick. But I knew we would have this at some point this week as I had Cherry Tomatoes to use up.
If I am not going out today than I want to throw things out, I am in total Spring Cleaning mode and want to purge my whole house, although that is easier said than done since most of it is not mine so I cannot just purge it. We will see what I can get done.

Another no spend day for us. Dh has his full lunch with snacks as usual and I’m going to spend the day cleaning.
Tomorrow is another story. The plan is to go to the nursery and get some seeds and some tomato plants and whatever else catches my eye.
The sun is paying peekaboo so I might have to head out for a quick walk and hopefully get a visit from Dave. Dave is an adorable black squirrel that runs up out of the bushes or down the tree when I walk the trail. He follows me (actually kinda chases me) to get his peanuts.
Hope everyone has a great, warm and productive day.

I cleaned the fridge freezer today. It had become a dumping ground of odds and ends. I found a few things to use up and put all 3 bags of peas into 1. Then once the sun came out I headed out to do some yard work. I have rabbits that like to eat my tulips so I gave them a god dose of bone meal. Fingers crossed it works.

Good Evening Everyone,
Slowly working on getting things done.
Bathroom is clean except the floor, Mom got up so I moved on to something else.
Tidied up the pantry, I did a good clean last week but there were a few things I left (onions, a bag of cans) plus there was the stuff I bought this week. Everything has now been put away and I vacuumed the pantry and stairs.
Noticed my strawberries had some spots so I washed those and my cucumbers. I cut up the strawberries and I am disappointed, not a lot of flavour so I took about half of them and turned them into a crustless strawberry pie. I price matched them at No Frills but I think the sale was at Wal-Mart so might try picking up a pack their this week as I was planning on Yogurt Bowls this week for Breakfast.
Other than that just did some general tidying, normal why are you here you don't belong here, let's move you to your home. Also just trying to find things I can throw out, clearing out my old receipts. Seems like everywhere I turn today I am finding stack of papers so sorting those, I have started a bag for shredding I will take to work and sorting anything we need to keep or can go into recycling.
Tomorrow will be prep day. Still need to come up with a few more meals for the week. Tonight we had Beef Stroganoff over egg noodles, realized as I was plating it up I forgot to cook the broccoli, opps.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@coupon girl and @flemeth ..... so funny.
Today I went to Pharmasave with the intention of buying DH a new form of sleep aid. That didn't work out, so I grabbed a bottle of Tums, a bottle of Biotin supplements and a single roll of Rolaids. Then the cashier says " are you a senior "? I said yes BUT don't give me any discounts because I need this to reach $20.00 before taxes.
Well even with no senior discounts the products came up short ( the sticker prices weren't ringing in what we expected ), so I had to add a triple roll of Rolaids to reach $21.26.
We'll have antacid relief in all corners of the house, in the glove box of the vehicle and in my purse. lol.
The Global pet shop was much easier.

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Sunday, I do not think it is very warm out but it is nice and sunny and doing wonders for my mood.
Today is prep day, I don't have a ton planned but all of a sudden I really want to bake which is good but bad because we can only eat so many baked goods.
We have a lot of leftovers so those will cover lunch for the next few days.
Still need a few more dinner options for our meal plan.
Time to knock this out and get it done.

If DH and I had better memories we'd make fewer trips out to the shops! I cannot believe between the both of us we came home without a couple of things from GT. We were both there, I turned my purse inside out with no success to find my shopping list, so we winged it. Today we're going back......sigh.
@coupon girl hope sweet Cara recovers soon! Illnesses are certainly making the rounds AND they linger. Not to mention these flus/viruses love to infect 1 family member at a time, then start all over again when the first victim seems healthy again.
