Good Morning Everyone,
Up early and working on a project for work. I want to get the project done don't get me wrong but I have started tracking my projects in a project journal (because I get pulled away so often and lose track of where I am) but I think more than anything I want to colour in more squares.
I do not know if it was the weather or what yesterday but oh my gosh did I end up with a massive headache that would not back down. I took something thought it helped but by the end of my work day I was done, my head was just pounding.
I ended up making Chicken Chunks and Fries with Salad for Dinner.
Got a little bit of tidying up done before the headache hit but not a lot. Today is a new day.
I think I have come up with a bit of a plan to tackle the mountain of craft supplies living in our living room. Most are things we could save out of the basement when it flooded and brought it up incase we flooded again. Now with Mom's mobility she wants to keep it on the main floor since she can no longer do the basement stairs. The plan is to get rid of the cookbooks on the bookshelf (we have a smaller self or they could be moved to the basement or leave the house) and put the craft supplies on the shelves. Only issue is the pile is blocking the bookshelves, I think I have a plan but we will see if it works.
Alright Breakfast is done, Tea is done time to get back to my regularly schedule day (is that a thing LOL).
Happy Wednesday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Happy Wednesday! We have snow on the ground and it is windy and gray out! Looks like another at home day.
Yesterday was a $0 spend day.
I thawed the ground beef over night so will make the taco meat today. Glad I waited so we had to eat the leftovers last night.
Everyone will be happy to come home to tacos tonight. Think I will make a homemade mac and cheese today as well so then tomorrow will be a no cooking day!
Enjoy the day!

BRRR! The wind is unforgiving out my way. Hamlet got a clean bill of health at his post surgery checkup this morning. ( 3 teeth extracted April 4th ) . It has been that long since he's had NO dry food or any of his crunchy treats, so when we got back home I spoiled him with about 12 of the small teats! I toss one, he chases it, comes back for more.
Honestly, he can paw a treat down dead in its tracks as it slides along the hardwood floor ( is he better than Stolarz ? ha ha )

Got to read a few back issues of the local daily and the Toronto Star. Quite a treat to enjoy reading them.
Spotted three articles of interest, one of which answered a query for me this week.
Found some 50% off Wonder ballpark hotdog buns to go with the $2.99 chicken wieners. Also scored a 50% off rosemary focaccia loaf. Did not see any exciting finds on grocery clearance shelves at Fortinos. Bought the Darling clementines at full retail as they are missed and make for quick snacks.
While waiting for bus to the library, there were a few powder snow granules shaken out of the grey skies. Another day of cold air.
I downloaded the Parrot TV app this week as it is no longer possible to watch Chch news on the website. Have to find out if Beyond the Gates soap opera has past episodes saved on the app.

Ugh, people can be so annoying. I went to change my wiper blades today and then DH realized that the “new” one from Costco was used, so someone returned their old broken one😡.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Good Evening Everyone,
Was up early this morning and got right to work as I needed to go into a branch today.
I went into the branch to work with a staff member and tested a staff member as they are coming up on their 3-months.
I really needed to go to RCSS as they had Oil of Olay on sale plus you got 3000 pts. This is the moisturizer Mom uses and she doesn't use any of the fancy ones and it never seems to go on sale so I grabbed 2. Plus I grabbed the Potatoes that were on sale for $1.99.
I recently grabbed 2 bags from No Frills and they look fine but when I went to peel some the other night the marks under the skin, I was losing a lot of potato.
Since I was right there I always went to Costco as there were a few things on sale I wanted/needed, mainly it was the Chicken Broth, the 6-pack was on sale for $9.49 and we go through so much it is so much easier to buy the case at Costco. Also saw they had the Dill Pickle Salad, Green Onions, Panko Bread Crumbs, Melatonin on sale. I got a 2lb bag of Green Onions for $4.99.
Of course there were a few other things I grabbed since I was there like Nachos, Cheese, Naan and they had Yogurt so I grabbed one even though I don't need it quite yet. We will use it.
Still need to look over the flyers, I took a brief look this morning but I don't remember what I saw.
No cleaning was done today but tomorrow is another day other than a clean kitchen. Since I was in branch and went to Costco one day off won't hurt.
Dinner was Greek Bowls using the Chicken and Rice I made on the weekend with Garlic Garlic Sauce and topped with lots and lots of veggies (lettuce, cucumber & tomatoes) also added Peppers and Mushrooms to the rice.
