Hope your knee is better @coupon girl .

We ordered our front and rear dash cam today. Gave us $140 off the purchase which includes cable they need to not tap into the car’s electrical system, the camera and the install.

Got fuel for 157.4 (one of the last cheapest we paid was 177.9) so that was a steal!

Priced out a hitch install for our bikes and it’s only $40 more than the one we had on the Jetta but we'll wait until end of summer or maybe next summer to have it done as it’s not a high priority right now.

Lastly we stopped at the nursery and I grabbed some French marigolds, 2 tomato plants, hanging strawberry basket, a dahlia flower (in memory of Harley, we do it every year) and a pepper plant. Hot them all in the ground and watered. The weather was 24 today so I couldn’t help myself. Now I’m tired.

    Have a great day

I bought one lonely tomato plant at Home Depot on the weekend.... I had no plan on planting anything but feel like I want to baby this one! It will have to sit in front of the kitchen window till at least the May long weekend since we usually can't plant anything until after.

    Morning!

Had a free pot offer at the casino to pick up yesterday or today. Original plan was to go today but decided late afternoon yesterday to go and get it over with.
Filled up with cheaper gas (154.6L) got the pot. Played the free play.

Came home and made dinner (leftovers). Used a can of green beans. Not my fav at all but- we are out of frozen and I was going to buy the fresh ones at Food basics again but decided to use what we have at home. (I need to dig in the freezer for frozen veggies- I know we have some to use up)
All the cooked chicken is gone now so tonight's dinner will be prepped today. Thinking I will make the taco black beans (didn't get to it yesterday) and cook up the ground beef for Big mac salad. Then those will be the options for the next 2 nights.

Today- Laundry. Wash a load and hang to dry. Fold the towels in the dryer and put them away. Clean out the fridge. Move everything out. Give the fridge a good clean- inside and out. Chop up the celery (for snack) and bag of onions (bought at Walmart 50% off - put most in freezer for cooking)
Go out later today to pick up office supplies and take a walk around RCSS or Walmart and see what I find. (pickles are on rollback for $2.97 at Walmart so I have been picking up a jar every time I go- I will pick up a few today- The price is getting crazy on these too!!!)

Walk! Back to making myself get out and walk. I am just not doing it and I need to. If I haven't walked during the day then I must walk to RCSS at night and that gets my 60 min walk in. I have no problem walking when I am out and about/on vacation/road tripping etc. I guess it's the being comfy at home and it looking cold out that makes me loose my ambition. And my new runners are so amazing! Feels like I am walking on a cloud....

    Have a fantastic day!

Just had my breakfast... sort of a "use what we have" deal. Oatmeal with Almond milk/walnuts/scoop of Greek yogurt and frozen raspberries. All items at the low part of the container so feels good to use them up before opening/using new stuff.

I really need to go get paper at Staples- it is stopping me from doing things so once I am done being on hold and finish my phone call I am going to pop out for a bit. Will try and get some steps in!

    Good Evening Everyone,
I was in the plant today, up early and out as I needed to get everything done before my afternoon meeting.

I was actually done early, so on my way home, I stopped at Costco as we were getting quite the list. Love being stocked up again. Got things like Eggs, Cheese Slices, Naan, Cucumber (these were on sale for $2.79 for a 2lb bag so I grabbed 2), Doritos (also on sale), dishwasher tabs, Mushrooms, Parm, Ricotta, Cesar Dressing, Pesto, Baking Powder, Spinach & Feta Sausages.

I also went to the No Frills closer to the Plant to try to find some of the things the local No Frills was out of. I got Poise Pads ($6) for Mom and Ice Cream Bars ($4), as well I realized I needed Onions so I grabbed those (10lbs for $2.99).

I did not need it but couldn't help but notice they had no Kirkland Greek Yogurt, hope this is not another trend like last year where getting yogurt was became like a game of getting there at the right time before they sold out.

Tonight's dinner will be the Spinach & Feta Sausages with Roasted Potatoes and the Dill Pickle Salad kit we need to use up.

If we like the Sausages I will go back before the sale ends and stock up. I really need to come up with more Protein options.

We will see if I get anything done after dinner, right now I just want to sleep.

Good Morning! The sun is shining!

Off to a good start....finally tossed a load of laundry in the washer! Sipping my coffee and will make sure to get the laundry out of the washer to hang to dry as soon as it finishes. Dealing with work emails as soon as they come in. Have a few work things I am putting off but I know they won't take long once I get at them.

The kitchen needs a quick wipe down so will do that when I am finished my coffee and prep my noon meal (today will be eggs with onion/mushrooms/peppers)

Dinner last night was Big Mac salad. It was ok. I think they all liked it much more then I did- DS really liked it. I will make him another batch of the sauce today since he finished it off last night. Tonight is black bean tacos. We have limes and avocados so good time to have tacos!

Going out after work today to pick up a few things on the last sale day (3pk romaine! $2.97) and possibly more strawberries (yesterday picked up a few for $1.50- they had 50% off some but they were not good at all so was happy with good ones at $1.50)

    Have a great day!

Looked over the upcoming sale flyers....my list is very small. Not much on sale/or that we need.
Not the best but will pick up a package of medium beef and make burger patties with it. That is an easy meal for me when I have no plan and I like the idea of having a few back ups in the freezer. Amazing how good it can be on a bed of lettuce...(even better topped with pickles/onions/lettuce etc . I honestly don't even miss the bun/bread.

Off to continue kitchen clean up- I have been working with a small drying mat but now have 5 clean dish towels! Just kept forgetting to bring them to the kitchen. I may start the wash the dishes and put in the dishwasher to dry...and then that is a job for someone to put away...

    Happy Thursday! We have sunshine

I ended up working till 6:30 last night- Glad I finished it and didn't have to deal with it this morning.
Dinner was so good! I need to have black bean tacos more often (well I will with the price of groceries it really is a cheap meal!!! )

I should pop out this morning to grab a package of the ground beef. And buns for the men. But that will be for tomorrow nights dinner since tonight is leftover night (I have to make the "Mac sauce" this afternoon for the big mac salad) Maybe tomorrow night will be BBQ night! I will give it a wipe down today or tomorrow but it shouldn't be to bad since it was cleaned at the end of the season and stored in the garage for the winter. Chicken and veggies will be tasting even better now!

I want to be outside later today to enjoy the sunshine so thinking it will be car cleaning day. oooh and I am going to ask for my kayak to be brought down in the garage..... Dare I go to the local spot for a quick paddle

    Have a wonderful day!

Geez- I remember I could make a dinner for 4 for under $10 with leftovers. And it was a really good meal.

Burgers- Tray of MEDIUM ground beef $16.00 and 8pk buns $2.29 (I went with the cheap ones) No bun for me but would be nice to have extra patties for the freezer for another time. Still cheaper then going out I know..... There is a burger/fry place in town and last time I went months ago it was around $17 I think for just a burger and fry and it was not great- no plans to go back....so I guess that should make me feel better about this price.
