ha ha !! @coupon girl I started out 5'4" now I'm 5'3" . I solved that deep washer tub issue that short people deal with
years ago by keeping a long pair of metal tongs hung up near the washer. Once the stuff I can reach gets pulled out I
grab the ankle socks and other small items with the tongs.
    Have a great day all!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Both Sunday and Monday night I had trouble sleeping, last night I was so tired an just as was drifting off to sleep a car alarm started going off and woke me back up. Counting down the weekend until I can sleep in LOL.

I did not make it to the store yesterday, between meetings, including a last minute can we meet now, the rain and then making dinner it wasn't happening.

I took an early lunch today so I could grab what I wanted before the sales changed only to get home to an email that today's meeting has been moved to tomorrow. But I got the groceries.

I grabbed a bag of apples, 2 x Bagels (one everything, one cinnamon raisin), bananas (odd craving), 10 x Pasta, 1 x Potatoes 10 lbs., Everything but the bananas were on sale. Just realized as I typed this I forgot to grab garlic.

I also found a pack of Extra Lean Ground Beef that was marked down to $12 something, when I broke it down it was $5.16/lb. We are out of cooked ground beef so I grabbed it. I will cook this off tonight.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone

I had a very productive work morning!! Finally got something off my list that has honestly been on it for years- No lie.

Breakfast was oatmeal topped with Greek yogurt/apple/walnuts/banana.

Looked over the upcoming sale flyers and my list is very very small. Either it is a good thing meaning we don't need much or very bad that there aren't any deals.

I didn't see anything of interest in the flyers this week either. But I did see today is the last day of the friends and family event at SDM so will try and get a jug of milk for 20% off-also my favourite bubble bath.

I just learned the other day that first time home buyers get a 1500 tax credit so please share with those in your circle who might be shopping for their first home.

Got my monthly cleaning and annual taxes done early.

Unfortunately, I filed my tax return on a 2024 form. What a rigamarole trying to fix that mistake. Hopefully, CRA will accept the letter I enclosed explaining the error and the accompanying (correct) 2025 tax form.

Chilly day here. We still have the furnace on and with the price of oil we have it set low.
We were unexpectedly away longer than planned so the house is well stocked so it will be an eat from the freezer and pantry month. We will only need fresh stuff.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

    Good Morning Everyone,
I am with everyone else, not much in the flyers for us. Nothing calling me to the stores this week so maybe next week I will grab a few things. My list is mainly the things I always put on my list and just grab if needed (bagels, tortillas).

Next week, I might grab Almond Milk (not the best price at $3.25 but better than full price), raspberries, sour cream, cherry tomatoes, none of these are needed for the weekend. But with that being said if I need to run out get out of the house these are the things I will grab. I do want to grab some more rye bread but I can grab that next week.

Currently have the microfiber cloths and bath mats in the washer and the dish washer running. Will see what I can knock out before the weekend.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

Morning! Chilly but we have sunshine.

I am very caught up with work so will get the little things done today and then start getting something ready for my busy work week next week.

Kitchen- Have some dishes to wash from last night- I kind of lost my steam. I'm going to cook up a few of the burger patties so they are easy for someone to eat later today to use up the few buns left. I really enjoy the pattiy in a lettuce bun but I am totally on my chicken/sweet potato/green bean kick.
Black bean tacos do sound good too so I may make those tonight to bring to my sister tomorrow for her to try.

Expecting a Staples delivery so I better make sure to wait for that to be delivered before showering/stepping out. I need my printer toner!

    Have a fabulous day!

I am hoping they last as long as 13 or 14 years as my other one did but i doubt it they guy said you are lucky if you get 7-9 years out of them.

I even got 2 free pods and some beads and 3 coupons .lol
Nice that you got something free with your washer and dryer. I have replaced in the last 2 months my 22 year old fridge (bought a Frididaire model), by 36 year old stove (bought a Whirlpool with air fry) and a new washer (Maytag) to replace my18 year old one. Only issue was a burned out bottom element in the stove & it was replaced under warranty.
