o.k I'll chime in on the large appliance talk. In the last few rounds of laundry we all noticed the dial that you turn to select the
wash cycle wouldn't land on the one we wanted. It became a hit and miss and eventually it would hit on the one we wanted.
The wash cycle works perfect, just the aggravation of the dial.

I phoned the service number in Canada, lovely tech guy confirmed the issue, seems to be a common malfunction.
He actually asked me to unplug it and plug it back in again which made me laugh. Is this a giant computer? That did not fix it,
he then confirmed I had not purchased extended warranty. So a service cost between 3-4 hundred dollars that would cover certain
repairs, parts and labour. PASS! I did not want to sign up for that until I checked with YOUTUBE....lol
Should have checked there first. There's actually a fix but since the knob that selects the cycle is not one that can be pulled off, it
requires the removal of the top panel, then the knob can be removed from the inside. Couple of squirts of WD40 into the area and voila!
We'll see if DH dares to try that. I hope to avoid a repairman cost.

Yes Thumpers Mum it is. I think they submit for the GST rebate just after buying the house while this credit comes on their next income taxes filed.
I was just looking at condos in Canmore as one possibility for my daughter and her fiancee. The builder is offering a 1.99% interest rate for the first 3 years which seems very good to me.

Rescued 20x sandwiches/subs and a danish from my Shell station.
The things I find on my walks. I came across a pair of rock-climbing shoes and a chalk bag. They seem to be my size. I'll take them home and wash them. Maybe I'll go climbing, one day.
Salvaged a battered can of spaghetti, abandoned by a bum in the grass.
Found an umbrella hanging off a tree. I never use them, but still took it home. Maybe I'll give/loan it to someone in the future.
I love hot (22C) days like today. I lost 6 pounds. And they'll stay off (at least until I eat dinner.
