Father filled out the Census yesterday.

    Good Evening Everyone,
Another fun filled day, although IT wise we had a good day. I was able to get 2 of my 3 big projects off my plate today so I am happy about that.

This afternoon when I needed a break I ran to No Frills and got:
    1 x Cantaloupe, 1 x Garlic 3-pack, 2 x Rye with a Touch of Sourdough Bread, 1 x Rye Bread, 2 x Limes.
Everything was on sale (or Price Matched) except the Garlic.

I stopped to get our mail expecting to find our Census, nope.

But then I was sitting here about an hour later working away and hear someone on my porch to find someone was dropping them off. I have given it to Mom to take care of.

I was sitting here working away and my phone made a different sound, it was my car telling me something was wrong with my tires. The issue is they were not on my car as they were being swapped for my all seasons LOL.

Waiting to hear when I will be swapping cars again.

Going over the flyers now, not much so far but only about half way through the local stores.

Still need to go to Costco, thought I was going to be working closer to Costco tomorrow but haven't hear back from my boss so we shall see. My list is getting quite long, there are quite a few hidden sales this week for things we regularly use so time to stock up.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone.

My census was super short because we this is not our permanent residence. So knowing my luck I will have a long form waiting for me.
I finally decided that I had enough of just accepting missing scene points and put in a request. It was more work than PCO and it took longer but I finally got my 700 Points. I did it through the Scene app not the Sobeys one as that seems less work. Thankfully PCO has conditioned me to save a pic of the offer because that was needed.

That’s awesome @lizzie bargain ! I can’t help but wonder how much they must earn to make it worth it to pay just over 4K in childcare . That’s great for you though. It just boggles my mind the wages some people have.

Thankfully I’m halfway through my work week! I’m exhausted.

Yes and I think with one child they can only claim 8,000 a year in tax deductions-which is a drop in the bucket. So much for the $10 a day childcare the govt keeps talking about-I think that is in daycares and day homes though.

And I did 2 short term gigs in the fall that each paid me $30 per hour which was great. It seems most people here pay 15-30 per hour for nannies.

Morning! Sunny and blue sky here!

My much needed afternoon off yesterday was wonderful. Drove out of town and somehow near the casino lol. It was a bonus free play day so played that and took home $90 cash. Had a free meal and brought dinner home for others.

DS took a tree down in our back yard. Now we have to deal with that but at least it is down now because it was spreading fast. Guess I am glad the guy that was suppose to give us a quote last year was a no show. He earned his beef dip sandwich with upgraded onion rings

Today- Work- of course everyone decided to work and send me multiple emails yesterday afternoon. Will get through those first thing this morning. Then start on my own stuff.
After work- will pop out to get a few fresh items (raspberries) etc. We don't need much really but we can never have too many raspberries! Get our fill at $1.88 a package!

Dinner- Guess I should take some chicken out to thaw. Haven't had it for dinner for a few days so will do my usual tonight (chicken/sweet potato/green beans)
We have wraps and lettuce/bacon bits so chicken ceasar wraps are a good idea for others. I will make homemade dressing today.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Woke up thinking it was Wednesday LOL.

I was supposed to be in the plant today with my boss doing some testing, but I got an email last night. Let's push back to mid-morning, then when I was getting ready to head out this morning to an email saying it is still not working we will re schedule.

I am always happy about a work from home day, but that now means I won't be close to Costco which I still need to get to before Sunday when the sales change. Then I will be going back next week for the fan and a some other things.

There are a few things I want to pick up locally so will try to get out today and get that shopping done. There isn't a lot, mostly from fresh stuff, Blueberries, Raspberries, Clementines, Lemon, and Sweet Potatoes. We also need peppers but the sales are not great for those although No Frills does have them for $1.97/lb., I don't know I normally prefer the packs.

Guess we will see what I find once I head out.

I got two of my large projects done yesterday, tried to work on the third today but doesn't look like I can get it done until I get more answer so guess that one is on the back burner. Guess I will play catch up instead.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

I once again had to put in a request for Miss scene points. This time it was 850. Hopefully they pay out as fast as the last ones.
I took advantage of the Sobeys gift card offer. Out here we have a choice of scene points or 25 cents off a litre up to 75l for gas. So we go for the gas option. The nice thing is we can use them to buy gas so I don’t end up blowing my grocery budget for the month. They do have an expiration so I did 3. We need to do it in $200.00 increments.

It is so hard to have the chance to get the food places I want on Too Good To Go ( the against the food waste app).
They are sold out in seconds!!!
Too many demands for the few offers ....
    Huh

I have still not received my 2x $5 Royale coupons and its been a while.
E-mailing a few times with no results...
    Pissed.

E-mailed Bolthouse fresh for carrots coupons and they said the coupons for this year are not out yet (weird) and that they will send some when they received them)...It's been a long while too.....

I am waiting coupons from STORK for a valid complain and its been 1 month of waiting and not received too....

I have still a bunch of papers forms to fill for my disability demand. ( medical report and more infos)
It take so much time to process.....

Man, what a day of ups and downs.

Left the house and picked up some garbage from the road. I walked over to the school dumpster and tossed it inside. A woman approaches me and tells me that the dumpster is private property and that I should not throw things into it. I asked her, "would you rather I leave the garbage on the ground?" She told me that if I do it again, she will call the police. I told her to call whomever she liked.
What a bozo. Not only does she NOT help pick up litter, she impedes those who do. I don't do it to be noticed or thanked, but I sure don't expect fools to get in the way! Sigh, the types of people I get to meet everyday.

The day gets better. I managed to recover 12x sandwiches, 8x 165g cups of gummies, 8x 165g bags of Reeses peanuts, 16x candy bars, 50x various other candy treats from my Shell station.

    And it got even better.

As I crossed the street, I was only wearing shorts and there were bags hanging all over me. A young caucasian man approached and hailed me. He reached into his pocket and was going to offer me money. I guess I looked like a bum. I thanked him for his kindness and told him that I did not need it, which seemed to surprise him. I told him that he was a good man with a generous heart. ( I have GOT to upgrade my wardrobe! )

    Good Evening Everyone,
I went to swap cars (mine back and dropped off the next one to be serviced).

Then I had to drop off my tires, labelled them so next time it will be easy to find mine.

Since I was driving by I went into work as I had 2 staff members saying they could not get on the new server, fixed that plus did a few other things well I was there.

Then I decided to grocery shop my way home.

    First stop Food Basics where I got: 2 x Blueberries, 1 x Lemons 2lb, 1 x Clementines 2lbs, 4 x Sweet Potatoes, 2 x Tortillas & 2 x Pasta Sauce. Everything was on sale.

Then over to Zerhs, I do not know what it is but every year as it get warmer I crave fancy drinks but as a non drinker and I don't drink a lot of pop (Ginger Ale is a treat for me) not to mention I hate spending $$$ on drinks (I am a water and tea girl and I buy my tea on sale at Costco) it is hard to find something. I was excited when all of these Mocktails came out but they are expensive ($9.99 for 4, no thank you).

For More Days Zehrs has the PC Blue Menu Flavoured Sparking water on for $5.75 and you get back 2500 points per case, I grabbed 4 various flavours and used points. In the end I got 4 cases (48 cans) for $5.99 + 7500 pts (one case did not qualify but I really wanted to try it, it is one of Sparking PC Pop - Cranberry Ginger Ale). Now I have some fizzy drinks for a treat.

Lastly off to No Frills where I got: 4 x Peppers, 1 x Sweet Potatoes 5lb, 1 x Cherry Tomatoes 585g. Again all on sale, I did not see the sweet potatoes in the flyer if I had, I would not have grabbed any at Food Basics but oh well we will eat them.

Still need to make it to Costco before Sunday but the local shopping is done.

Blue sky and sunshine! A perfect start to the weekend!

Will make myself go out and hit Walmart later this afternoon- mostly to get my steps in. There wasn't anything in the flyer I wanted but who knows what deals I may find..

Dinner tonight will be leftovers and repeat of last night (Chicken/sweet potato/green beans) Having dinner out tomorrow night- taking my mom out for dinner.
I picked her up a hanging basket at Food Basics yesterday. Now to remember to bring it to the car when heading there tomorrow!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
