We watched the girls last night from 8-9 as my son and his wife had a therapy session .
So off to buy the girls a cool drink and dollarama,i said they could each spend $ 8-10.00.
I gave my daughter-in-law the biggest hug ever ,hope it helped as her mom is not like me she once said to my son .Some women are not maternal.
Today went to giant tiger to look at a few summer dresses ,nope didnt find any so just got a few items .
Then went into a bin store beside it saw hubby's brother who was buying BBQ parts.I found a bathing suit for Ashlyn 2.00 cant beat that ,so picked up cara a stitch t-shirt in giant tiger 8.00.When in toronto i took Sebastian some pj bottoms and a nice t-shirt .I love buying the kids clothes when i get a deal.
Just made a pot of chicken soup ,didnt have much chicken left as it was a small one ,but still .

We enjoyed another warm day. So we headed off to the a part of the province we have not been yet and went for a hike. It was a longer than planned and almost 90 minutes to home so we treated ourselves to Subway. I was happy I had left the coupons in the truck when they came in the mail.
I was especially pleased to see my 500 AM for the last promo. I will use them for a gift card before the bonus redemption ends.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Good Morning Everyone,
Oh what a week it has been LOL.
Monday I woke up in pain, my lower back and hips were killing me. I spent most of the day sitting in weird positions try to stretch out the muscles. Once the muscles released I continued to sit in odd position but now it was in hopes I did not go into spasms. I got nothing done but that is okay.
Tuesday, Tuesday was insane I went into work to set up a computer had some meetings and just tried to catch up. From taking Friday off, I had over 350 emails to go through.
Yesterday I was in the plant, they offered one of the assistants to help with my current project so I went in and went over that with them.
When I was done I had some errands to run which were all closed to the plant so I started at Walmart where I returned the new electric toothbrushes I bought because when I was cleaning the bathroom I realized I bought the ones we already tried and didn't like (they are still in the bathroom because I keep saying I am going to use them to clean and one day I will LOL), so I returned those. Well I was there I grabbed 2 more pairs of PJs one for winter (on clearance for $10) and one for summer for $12. Feels like a good price because the other ones I was looking at online were $30+.
Then off to Costco, I said I wasn't going to Costco this week but guess who forgot to buy Cranberry Pills (I can get 60 pills for $16.97 locally or 240 pills for $29.99 a Costco), so off to Costco I went. I got Cranberry Pills, Caesar Dressing, Kielbasa (Mom's request) and cucumber. They also finally had the glass containers that are on sale so I grabbed those as well.
Lastly off to Kitchen Stuff Plus to return the mug for the second time. The first one leaked and the second one was missing some of the glaze on the handle which if washed would cause it swell and crack so back it went. I bought the last one they had so we will see how this goes.
I did fight the urge and did not go the Business Center (why I bought the cucumbers at regular Costco).
I looked at the flyers last night and nothing really jumped out at me as oh we need that. So I may just run to Walmart for Romaine since I used most of what I had for dinner last night (we had Greek bowls). Although I could also get Romain from the Business Center LOL (what can I say so many things I want to try but the don't want to spend the $$$, story of my life lol). But in all seriousness nothing is pulling me into the stores this week.
Time to see what chaos today will bring.

Good Morning Everyone,
I know, I know it is a short week but I am so ready for the weekend to be here.
We are changing the programming we use in production and yesterday I could not get something to work, it was not calculating correctly it took me far too long to figure it out. Actually it was one of those when I walked away it hit me, I tried it and it worked but in my defense I programmed it how I was told to program it originally. So needless to say yesterday was a LONG day.
I did run to Walmart, as I knew I needed to give Mom's car a drive, just as I got to Walmart I saw a last minute meeting was booked so I ran in got my lettuce, found a package of shortbread cookies on clearance for 50% off (Yes, I'll take those, thank you, Mom requested cookies and I knew I wouldn't have time to bake any until the weekend).
I was going to make another stop on the way home but decided not to risk and just get back for my meeting so I may or may not run out today, we will see.
There is so much I want to get done this weekend and I know I won't get it all done (things to do vs time, aren't adding up) but I think the first thing I need to do is just go room to room and pick up the things that should not be living there. Last night as I was going to bed I see a bag of cardboard I dropped there because my hands were full and forgot about and it is still there. Things like that need to be tackled. I also want to reorganize the bins in the dining room. Lastly all of the freezers need a good reorganize (I really want to get rid of all of the oddities that are taking up space, I am looking at the 2L of Apple Cider I bought for someone to make a recipe that was never made so it was frozen instead or multiple bags of beets to make some salad but have been there for years, yes all still good cause they are in the freezer but taking up space). We will see how that adventure go.
But to be able to get that done, I have a bunch of stuff I have to have done by the end of today or I am working this weekend.

Good Morning!
Enjoying my "staycation". Out and about in my area. Morning walks by the water. Enjoying the sunshine!
Up earlier then my usual work day. Even started coffee for the working men one morning...
Even went for a drive to Wasaga Beach yesterday for a change of scenery in the morning but made it home before noon to make eggs :0.
Did my walk then grabbed a bag and walked to No Frills. Was planning to buy the bag of avocados for $2.99 but they were all ripe... the singles were selling for .59C each so much better deal to just grab a few nice ones. Walked further the other way up the hill and then back down to the car to get more steps in!
Now I have a load of laundry to toss in the washer (including what I am wearing) and will hang to dry.
Did well on groceries this week (considering these were the old regular prices)- GT had the 2pk BLSL chicken breasts marked for $4 so I grabbed the 2 biggest packages for dinner that night. 2lb carrots $1.95. Celery $2.44. No Frills found eggs whites for $3.29 expired end of June! Snap peas 50% off. Stocked up on more .50C laughing cow cheese. RCSS- did the hummus deal- Spend $10 get 3000 PC Pts. Since the hummus was on for $3.50. Just wanted to have healthy choices available.
Had a dinner out tomorrow night that I declined (I looked at the menu and it is fancy and I don't want to eat plain chicken or feel the pressure lol Rather eat my simple dinner ) worked out because they decided children aren't allowed to go now so now I am babysitting my niece. I try and help out anytime I can... (Its for my BIL's best friend so they should be there!)
We bought paint to re-paint front door/etc. Youngest DS is going to help so will get him started hopefully tomorrow or Sunday. (depending on weather) Would like it done sooner then later. I will post the full can of paint from the fall that I didn't like the colour of on the free site since we don't really have a use for it.
Dinner- Tacos!(Black bean and ground beef/turkey mixed maybe... see what I find in the freezer) We have everything else needed!
OK I am starving. Thinking oatmeal this morning topped with fresh almonds/banana and frozen raspberries.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Needed to step away from my computer. I have had a productive morning but needed a break.
I needed to check out mail so I picked it up, my sample of Poppi arrived so that is in the fridge to get cold.
Since we made the Burgers last weekend Mom has been craving a burger but I am out of Beef Broth and she wants to do what we call Take-Out at home which would be Homemade Burgers with Oven Fries Poutine. I decided since I was out I would grab a carton of Beef Broth so we can have burgers this weekend.
I ended up going to Giant Tiger because I wanted to look at their pillows, so devastated, the pillow I loved has changed from a firm pillow to a super soft pillow which just doesn't work for my neck but I did find Broth for $1.77 (not the best price but better than full price) and Pasta for $0.97 (I will be donating the pasta to the community fridge as we are stocked up on pasta). I grabbed 2 of each.
I need to come up with a meal plan for next week. I had part of one of this week but we had a few off nights because I got called into last minute late afternoon meetings which then throws off making dinner. I need to make sure we have some quick options available for those nights because I know this will keep happening until we go live.
Time to focus and knock out the rest of what I have to get done by end of day.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Yikes, I have had three days of no SC. I know the site is old and no one maintains it but every time I tried to get on the forum section I was getting an error. It worked for a minute yesterday so let’s see how long it will last before it crashes again.
we have had three nights of frost warnings so I have been wrapping the plants and bringing some inside. Hopefully it warms up because I doubt DH will baby them and I am leaving mid week for a few weeks in Ontario.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Good Morning Everyone,
It is a grey gloomy day here and honestly my ambition level matches LOL, but there are things to get done.
We have so much going on at work right that by the time I finish my work week I am done but also since we are so busy, I am not getting anything done other than making dinner and keeping the kitchen during the week.
I got about 90% of what I needed to get done, done yesterday, there are a few things I did not get done but everyone is aware and know why (we had a huge programming glitch that took hours to fix). But then, the joys of being in Admin where you work with every department, I was eye ball high in the Production Programming and all of a sudden there was an issue with the Marketing Project. They wanted to have a meeting but I already had a production meeting so after my meeting I ended up doing a bunch of uploads for Marketing, but we got it done.
Today I am just trying to get things done. Bathroom has been cleaned, including the floors. I also washed the filters in the upstairs air conditioners and just in general tidying up.
Guess we will see where the rest of the day will take me.
