I agree with @coupongirl about a printer I also do have one at present. Yes and finding coupon is getting more difficult. I have family and friends that lives in different city from me and the are always on the look out for coupons for me.


Hoping to find the Cavendish quick crisp coupon.


Was trying to be very frugal by buying another Romaine heart at GT but there was no stock . Got a rain check for 2 bags. FreshCo has there Romaine hearts for $6.99 and RCSS is out of stock. Will make do with what I have in my fridge. Refuse to pay $6.99

@flemeth at our GT ( on Sat. ) there was a notice that due to the severe rains in California
they received no shipment of the romaine. We left empty handed and they said they could
not issue a raincheck. Frustrating, we also refuse to pay $6.99 or anything close to that silliness.

Found a roast beef sandwich on the sidewalk. It was marked May 11. I checked it out and it looked okay. The bag integrity was still air-tight, so I ate it for lunch.

Salvaged 12x more sandwiches, 2x wraps, and 9x danish from my Shell station.

Morning!

Looked over the upcoming sale flyers. Looks like we are feasting on asparagus, raspberries, melon, blackberries and apples. Added to our food on hand we shall eat well this week. I plan to give the fridge a complete clean out later today so we are using up what we have and ready for the new stuff to plan the meals for the next week. Will be shopping next Wednesday (last day of sale) for sure to gather the same items for the next week.

Ok off for my morning walk break on the hunt for coffee.

Afternoon popped out this morning to food basics got my 4 butter for 3.98 plus spent about $90.Of course saw the black diamond cpn holder empty.
I asked where are your strawberries ,the produce guy said they were bad so we pulled them all.hummmm

Then whippersnipped the back and front lawn for hubby he will cut the lawn on thursday .

Happy Tuesday! The sun is shining but the sky looks heavy...Guessing we are expecting rain today. I should look at the weather app!

My back/body is killing from the coughing and laying around. So today is a walking day for sure. I am actually thinking of going to the hotel resort to stay the night (have free room that expires Thursday) so I can get lots of waking in and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Going to get some things done this morning and then probably pack up and head there around lunch time. Gas is usually cheaper in this area so hopefully it is so I can top up the tank...

New coupon alert- Found save $1.50 on any Black Diamond Cheese. I know there is one that is for both Cracker Barrel and Black Diamond too. Love that it is good on bars as well.

*** I checked 2 times Maxi and Cie (No Frills) and IGA (Sobey's) and they are not there***...
***I checked in every single aisle*** .
***Now the groceries are silly and tricky they dont put the coupons with the products...only at random aisles....example: a coupon for cheese with the bakery bread, a coupon for yogurt with cereals bars or with the cereals....***

@cath007 I hear you about not finding coupons . I am also looking for the Cavendish $2.00 coupon, cheese coupon or Tropicana coupon . And not all stores have the same coupon .

Yes cath it is gettin g harder to find cpns ,i saw the empty black diamond cpn yesterday at food basics ,we all would love that cpn.

Well off to the hospital for hubby's MRI he has waited a few months ,then across from hospital i get to wear a heart monitor for 3 days .

Good Morning! This week is flying by.

I just popped out quickly to Food Basics to beat the rush. I wanted to get the hot dog wieners for DS (disgusting but a summer treat- Good on the BBQ! or around the fire!) I am guessing they will sell out quickly at that price ($1.99) considering the regular price!
Have other running around to do today (Bank/other grocery stores) and getting a good walk in!

Had a very busy but productive work afternoon yesterday so once I file a few reports this morning it should be a quiet day to clean up my desk...need to do some shredding!

Dinner- probably chicken and veggies- Will figure it out. Will PM the Cauliflower somewhere because I forgot to pick it up at FB...But that sounds like a good veggie for dinner

I'm the same @Frugalbigmama hot dogs to me are blecht! The only kind I eat are the All Beef ones, 1 sans bun, slathered in yellow mustard.
The guys can knock back any version of hot dogs. Three is their personal maximum when a burger is on the same plate.
I cannot get to the FB to get the sale dogs till Saturday......you're probably right, they'll be out of them by then.

@Frugalbigmama not just the price for the hot dog would make it sold out there is a Maple Leaf Booklet and there is a $2.00 coupon inside for the Top dogs so yes since it’s Free it will go fast

Back in Ontario for a few weeks. I went to Metro for the egg offer and they had none. I may go back in the morning because the AM receipt program has an end date of May 31. I wonder if it’s just changing because of the new program. I did set up my Shell easy pay app and with Scene and my Scotia bank Visa we will save 6 cents a litre. So far I don’t see what we earn in actual points.

Salvaged two 25g sticks of jerky from my Shell station. They were dated for April, but it's not like they are going to dry out further.
