My husband said for the first time he slept pain free through the night since his surgery 3.5 weeks ago. Hopefully that continues. He is off to physio today.

Sounds like a chance of rain here as well later today. Glad I went for a good walk this morning. Started my morning a little later then usual (even on a vacation day) I did log into work to check something.
I am in charge of making our road trip lunch so I went to the store to get the last minute stuff.... Sour Dough bread- I am not eating bread but I will for a treat on a road trip so wanted the good stuff
. I made my oatmeal at my sister's house last week and diced my apple and my niece really wanted a red diced apple that but they didn't have any red apples (I brought it from home) so I plan to dice an apple for my niece lol
I haven't had kolbassa at all this summer so I just bought one.... Will save for my next Kayak snack
(Cucumbers/Kolbassa/cheese/and other things just all taste so good on the water)
Now to do a load of laundry ( I want what I am wearing clean- fav yoga pants) and start packing! We were suppose to leave today buy my niece had a last minute sport practice (for a team she wants on) but my sister said she could miss it but really our road trip wasn't set in stone so we pushed it a day...and now we have 2 hotel nights booked because we were just going for a day trip but my niece told my sister she liked going to the hotel with us so we made a longer plan! Soon she won't want to hang our with mom and Aunty so we gotta take it while we can!
Have a great week!

@coupon girl that was a tough phone call for you to get so early in the a.m. She sure needed a shoulder to cry on, good
that you were at home and provided her that comfort.

Well hubs went to physio today for his first physio follow up after his surgery 3.5 weeks ago. The physio told him he is ahead of the curve, gave him some exercises and told him to come back next Monday. Alberta health covers up to 7 sessions after surgery so he might as well take advantage of that before he goes back to work in Sept.
He said last night was his first pain free night and he finally slept through-hopefully that continues.

Good Evening Everyone,
These is just something about not getting a good night sleep on a Sunday night that just hits you a little harder. I hate starting a new week on what feels like the wrong foot.
I had to go into the plant today train some managers (no longer the trainer but still training LOL).
I was done around noon so I ran to RCSS because we needed Milk, they did not have any in stock but I did grab the following well I was there:
Naturally Imperfect Peppers $2.99 2.5 LBS, Yes Please!!!!!
2 x Ramen Noodles 1.50
1 x Udon Noodles $2.00
1 x Sunflower Seeds
1 x Pumpkin Seeds
Both the seeds are for Mom, she likes them in her Yogurt Bowls and I didn't want to stop at Bulk Barn. I think they were $1.99 each, not very expensive.
I found a video online about added Ramen Noodles to your Stir Fries and you add liquid directly to stir fry and cook the noodles in the Stir Fry making it a one-pot meal. I have done this twice now and love this method. Make for such a quick and easy dinner full of veggies.
Decided to try No Frills for Milk, I have started buying only the Fine filtered as I find when I buy the other ones they always go bad early. No Frills had it and I could Price Match YAY!!!!!
Come home to finish out my work day.
Right at 4 pm a few things happened. I went into this week saying dinners would be better but I got distracted and we ended up with Nachos since it was almost 6 pm. We will try again tomorrow.
Happy Monday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Morning Everyone,
It is a work from home day, YAY!!!!! because I do not know what it was but oh my gosh was I exhausted this morning and I slept.
Up and getting this day going. I had one big task I had to tackle today, it was testing for a new module, we started this with our old support team and I was having TONS of issues. Our new Support team sent some documentation ad a few quick changes and I got it up and working from the system standpoint. But now I need to wait for that department to submit how they want it to run so I can set it up.
Trying to come up with a plan for dinner so hopefully it goes better tonight. It just seems like every day around 4 or 4:30 something happens which then before I know it, it is 6 pm and I haven't started dinner.
I am struggling with work lately. I have always had a job where you are never caught up, there is always something waiting for another day but lately it just seem like that pile is so high that shutting down is hard. I am always like, just let me get this done, okay now if I can get this done and before I know it. it is 8 or 8:30 and time for best and I still have a list of things to tackle. I need to work on it.
Let's see if I can knock out a few more things and I really want to sort a few areas of my house and find some stuff we can get rid of. Again on the weekend that I need things to leave this house feeling came back.
Happy Tuesday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Sassy ,take time for yourself sometimes ,i know its hard .
I went to Fortinos and got a lovely arrangment of fresh flowers in a curved pot and a card from dollar store. Then bought my hubby a hot meal ,got a few items like strawberries ,2 bolthouse juices 3.50-1.00 cpn=2.50.
I paid less than at a flower shop at fortinos ,so was pretty happy there .My neighbour loved the flowers and card and said i am a true friend ,so nice .
On wednesday phone call with a nurse to go over my meds before surgery next week.
