    We have put furniture items out on the curb from time to time with a sign that says "Free" and they are gone pretty quickly. It is an easy way to get rid of things and if someone can use it, then it keeps it out of the landfill. I also feel that if someone is industrious enough to sell the items at the flea market or garage sale then more power to them! Saves a trip to the waste transfer station....
