Thread: Lego Deals

I had a Lego deals before Christmas and thought I would start a new one.
Lego.com has free shipping over $75 ending tonight March 31. They also updated their clearance sets with bigger discounts but some of those sets sold out super quick. DS still had a $60 GC from Christmas so I added a 1/2 price set to get my order over the $75. I then used up $10 worth of points.
Chapter/Indigo has 20% and 25% off also ending tonight March 31, though a lot of items are out of stock.
I think Zellers has some sets on sale but I haven't been there since the post Christmas 1/2 price fiasco. This thread is currently associated with: Indigo Chapters Coles Bookstore, Zellers

This is a great thread!!! My kids love Lego. I wish I had seen this at Christmas. I haven't seen any great deals lately, but always keep an eye.

Clearance section at RCSS. We bought Toy Story Duplo with Jessy and Bullseye for $5 (orig. about $20) and they had Buzz and Pizza Planet Truck sets for $15. I also remember seeing Harry Potter, Lego City and some other sets, but my little guy is a bit young for those, so I wasn't paying much attention.

10214 Tower Bridge? If you're looking for a cheap price on this large LEGO exclusive, I suggest you buy it from an american retailer online and just ship it to a place in NY state. You are going to save about $60 minus the tax. Plus, recently Amazon had this set at 10% off but sold out quickly. And check out Toys R Us.com regularly, they usually have BOGO 50% off sales (this week) and slaes such as 20% off all LEGO. The Tower Bridge is currently sold out at TRU, but check back regularly because a few pops up here and there. If you prefer to buy this in Canada, I believe the only place to get it is at shop.lego.com or at both of the LEGO stores in Ontario. And don't hope for a sale on this set at LEGO.com or in store, it will rarely happen or not happen at all.
It is a shame that Amazon.ca does not sell LEGO. Free shipping, great deals from time to time. This set is a must-have for LEGO fans of all ages. Though I don't have it (too expensive), it looks beautiful at a display piece. The price will DEFINITELY rise after discontinuation. Expect it to go up to at least $600. Hope this helps. Sorry if my post was too long. I get carried away when typing about my favourite toy.

thanks for a great post!! We noticed maybe 2 years ago that the US price was $100 cheaper than Canada, but don't have an NY address to ship. We'll just buy it there on our next trip to the U.S., I assume it has to be a city with a Lego Store though as I don't think others would sell a set this expensive .

Sat, Apr 7th, 2012, 12:54 PM #9This week Toys R Us Canada will have 20% off ALL LEGO Spongebob and 25% off ALL LEGO LICENSED ZipBin storage cases and playmats. Very weak sale from TRU this week, nothing terribly exciting unless you are a Spongebob fan.

Another big score at the RCSS clearance--- 3 sets 75-80% off... I think they're switching over their toy department for the summer and getting rid of a lot of stuff.

I am just teasing.
It's great that you like lego and are willing to share deals with us. I guess that doesn't translate well on the internet.
