We all like our lotions, potions, and glosses.
From the sounds of us some of us have quite the stash of products (thank you Olay and Covergirl)
So tell me what you've used up and would you buy it again? This thread is currently associated with: Olay

I didn't use it up but I traded in all of my expired MAC make-up for some new stuff.
I use the same items for my skin as I have such problems with it so I have several items of each item I use. I don't buy different items because it will probably make my excema flare up.
Most of my make-up is new though as last year during a dance competition someone dumped my bag on the ground and broke all of my eyeshadows and blushes. I have had to spend the last year slowly building up my regular make-up, pin-up make-up and all of the different make-up that my daughter uses for dance.
I do have lots of lipstick though, that is my weakness. Oh and China Glaze nail polish, especially red. I do always have my nails painted but will never use it all.
I would like some new brushes but that will wait. My bathroom used to look like a drug store.

Funny you should post this thread tonight. I spent several hours today going through my lotions, potions, etc. and boxing some things up for the women's shelter and some for passing on to family members tomorrow. I will not buy Dove body wash again but will definitely buy Olay once I run out of my near-lifetime supply. Will buy Aveeno, Curel but probably not Covergirl. L'oreal Expertise shampoo is on my 'will buy again' list and I will buy Pantene in the future for my DD.
I decided today that we need to eat, drink, bathe and beautify our way through the stash that is taking over what was once our office.

Used a huge 400ml Nivea body lotion. I think I bought during one of the pink ribbon campaigns!. I like Nivea but my problem is the stash. I have to many to use up to rebuy something and by the time I decide I like it, they've discontinued it!
I've got a Fructis shampoo that is sputtering in the shower and just keeps giving me more

I have been trying to do this for the last year now. I know I am moving eventually this year and I just have way too much stuff. I was saving all those shampoo samples for when I travel, but I always seem to accumulate more samples and they never get used. I used every last sample in my stash before buying more shampoo. I am also working on all my lotion samples. I don't buy lotion because I have oily skin and never use it, but the samples are nice to have for those once in awhile times that I actually need lotion.
I also have enough makeup to make makeup artists jealous, but the problem is I won most of it or got it free! I have purchased very little of the stash I have accumulated. Same with nail polish. Since joining the Julep maven program I haven't actually purchased a box they were all free from referrals and I have more coming until May!
I have sooo much stuff and I keep giving things away but it seems like I accumulate more than I use or give away. I'm eventually going to have myself down to nothing again hopefully!
Out of everything I have sampled I am hooked on the Fructis pure clean shampoo and conditioner so I bought gigantic bottles of them on sale.

The Fructis range for coloured hair is great. I can't praise the detangler enough! Sometimes you can find it in Dollarama.

I've used shampoo that's not suitable for my hair on lightly soiled laundry. Works just fine.
I got hooked on Noxema skin cream as a teenager when I used it as a cleansing cream to help with my acne. It's a permanent part of my stash. I've found a skin cream by Delon in a dollar store that's cheaper than Noxema and also does a good job.
Stuff I would buy again are Dove cream oil and Softsoap pink grapefruit for showering. The Dove cream oil really helps with winter dry skin, and the Softsoap pink grapefruit is good for warmer weather and is usually a good deal for the money. I'm also pleased with the Olay pore minimizer and scrub which I got as a freebie.
I wouldn't buy Dove Go Fresh again.
No more Yves Rocher stuff despite all their hype. I've had too many disappointments.

i've been trying to use up my stash for a while too. so far, nothing much strikes me as a must have. many higher end skincare products don't live up to their claims. they are more luxurious to use (better scent, texture, and packaging) but there are cheaper products that work for me. i have noted some stuff i will never buy again: nivea and eos lip balms (dry and waxy, wears off fast), cake beauty body lotion (overwhelming scent, not moisturising enough), urban decay liquid eyeliner (brush split on me), the body shop hand wash (drying) and mineral foundations (breaks me out).

I have tried many different nail polishes but find I prefer China Glaze. One coat and done. Have got rid of the rest. I stay away from Avon because it makes my daughter break out in welts. I try to stick with more natural products just because my daughter and I have incredibly sensitive skin. Tried Tea tree shampoo for my excema and it made my scalp burn so that went in the trash. I have decided to stop experimenting and stick with the tried and true.

I used to dye my hair but my hair is colour resistant so I'm back to natural colour. I used to use herbal essence after all those freebie promotions a few years back and really liked it too. But I was comparing the bottle sizes and prices and found it was much cheaper to buy the giant 750ml fructis pure clean for 4.96 (regular price) instead of the 200ml herbal essence for 2.97.

I love the gofresh line in Dove body wash. Love Olay bar soap and body wash.
Not too excited about the visible care Dove judging from the smell and lather. It does say you skin improves with continued use but I switch up often and cant say if it will improve skin with continued use. I have a few and probably wont repurchase.
Not a fan of the Lever citrus fresh body wash but like the bar soap. The best things in life...aren't things

With an unemployed spouse for 7 months of last year, and how an underemployed spouse, I am so glad to have amassed a stockpile over the last couple years. We are moving in the next two months for me to go to another job in an area where he can work full time.
So we are saving for moving expenses and just due to the fact that he is only getting part-time work.
I've been using my beauty stockpile for the last year. We should have enough razors, shaving cream, soap, shampoo and conditioner for the next year or two. So that is a savings.
We are stockpiled on pasta that I got for pretty cheap so that is a staple for us.
We are trying to be extremely frugal for the next year while we try to get our bills paid.Try out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:

Used an Olay Total Effects body treatment (15ml tube). Meh. I think deep down I'm a Nivea woman who just likes to walk on the wildside everyso often.
Has anybodyelse got an annoying collection of those foil sample envelopes. Usually has enough for one use and that's it? I save them for travelling but who can tell if the stuff is any good?

Tried the liquid body wash products, but we like bar soap at our house, so using up the cheap body wash products in the liquid hand soap dispensers, works great, smells wonderful and the price was right.

The samples I got (In regards to beauty) and will use their products again are:
Aveeno lotion and lip stuff
Dove-Deep treatment conditioner
Cover Girl-some foundations, but not all
Bert's Bee Hand lotion
Goats Milk lotions and soaps
