Metro - Olymel & Airmiles Brag

I went to Metro today nice and early to ensure I could get the amount of Olymel I wanted.

I got:

10X Olymel Nuggets $4.99 - $2.50 coupon = $2.49 each
10X Olymel "sticks" $4.99 - $2.50 Coupon = $2.49 each (each box has $5.50 worth of coupons in them that I have up for trade now)
4X Real Fruit Gummies $1.99 - $0.50 peelies = $1.49 each
1X Breton Crackers $2.99 - Gave to mom, just looking at the box made me want to puke.

Total Before Coupons and tax = $110.75
Total OOP after tax = $59.78
Base Air Miles = 5
Bonus Air Miles = 0


Now here is where I need your help. I thought that as long as I hit the $95 I would still get the 95 bonus air miles despite paying less out of pocket, similar to how SDM works with their points system. Well apparantly according to my reciept thats not how it works. Am I wrong in my assumption that I should have gotten the 95 points since coupons are tender or ...?

Really confused as I see others brag from Metro and pay less OOP but still get the bonuses.

Also confusing is the fact that I got 5 regular air miles because I "spent" $100 ($20 = 1 AM) so wouldn't this make even more sense for me to get the 95 bonus ones for going over $95?

EDIT:Okay thanks guys!!! Was pretty concerned. I guess I will have to wait to mail in the reciept for the Dare MIR until I make sure I get my air miles. So after all it turns out it was a pretty good brag

You definately got 95 airmiles. The points don't show up on your receipt, they will show up on your account in about a month...yes a month but you definately did get them. Make sure to keep your Metro receipts (always) and check your account online in about 30 days. If you don't see them there and Airmiles has posted their points for that week, you will have to call Airmiles to have it rectified. This happened to me. As long as you have your receipt to prove that you shopped that day they will credit your Airmiles.

Yes the points will show on your airmiles account, not metro receipt. I am sure you got the points. So good brag.

I did something similar and ha same results, will get them within 6 weeks.

I have to get back in & get me some Olymel! What a great deal!
I was in this morning to our local Metro but for prime rib roast they had on for $3.99/lb today only....lo & behold I get there at 8 am & there aren't any in the freezer! I thought "no way it's only 8 am"....so asked & apparently the truck hadn't come yet....makes me think of Zellers....got me a rain check for 2 though so hopefully the truck brings nice juicy roasts soon!

Ugghhh I hate when they put things on sale and then don't carry/stock enough its really frusterating. I guess their hopes are since you are there already you might as well get the rest of you're things but it actually does the exact opposite for me, I don't buy a thing purposfully and instead PM Metro flyer else where and then in the future am hessitant to go back.

I hardly if ever go to No Frills unless its a store specific item.

I'm looking for more $2.50 olymel coupons now after this whole shop lol.
