I don't think you were purposely mean to scare us, you are just try to give us heads up on what you heard. So, don't feel bad.

Umm maybe the cashier was told that prices were going up on something but she heard points going up? Who knows. The SDM cashiers that I have ever dealt with, I end up teaching them to do their job, showing them their coupon policy, telling them the till buttons, etc. So it would be extremely amazing if they knew something that us smartcanucks wouldn't know before them LOL

Hearsay is an awful thing. Don't feel bad Koolaid. Stuff like this happens. Cashiers hear a rumour, then pass it to customers. Customers get worried, tell their friends. In these situations, people should always hang onto their points until they hear official announcements and the new redemption levels so people know whether it's worth it to cash out now or later
