if a new person comes on with ONE vote and gets 5 shoes, and someone has been on since the start of the contest with 1000 votes, and 4.2 shoes, the person with 1 vote is not going to win.

it'll be the # of votes. so if she goes around downvoting, she's actually adding a vote on to the entry she is trying to sabotage..

this contest never should have been worked this way. i like the way you can't see how many votes they have. the rating thing shouldn't be there AT ALL. it should be one vote per pic per hour (whatever), that way we don't have to divide up our votes like with the cat contest. i hated that too.

Thanks to everyone for the words, and I'm so glad this thread is back to normal. It makes me pee myself laughing every day.

And now I'm off to bed to get up at 4:30 for weights, swimming at 7, biking into work and working a 12-9 shift.

they emailed me back saying the problem was fixed. i started getting points from the voting/comments and now i'm not again!! and as for the newsletters, i signed up for them again and they still don't come. thank goodness for this site and people that post words when they get letters!

I was cussing points and prizes cuz it made me wait 2 hours to enter words then only let me enter 2 didn't realize the voting was stopping me! Well heck it is worth it! I just get steamed when I vote and go back an hour later and the points have gone down. Been trying all day to get that little girl Erica's points up and blast it they keep under 3 shoes, that is a real shame!!!!!
