    Been downtown all day with my daughter. Been looking for a good deal on a new wallet for a while. Asked the price of one but when they told me I didn't think it was a good enough deal but then the girl came back and said no it's really $10, I said "are you sure?" she and another girl there said yes, but then when I went to buy it they said "no, we were wrong it's really on sale for $25!" I had to argue for a bit and got another lady working there to give it to me for the $10. They didn't want to since they did make a mistake but I think if you tell someone a price a couple of times and then realize you made a mistake you should still stand by your price, which they finally did!! Also got my daughter's 1/2 price since when you bought one you got the other half price! Don't mean to go on and on but it took a while to get a good price on this item! Anyways, good night and good luck everyone!

    We're home!!!

    My daughter's surgery went better than expected!! She was scheduled for 3 1/2 hours but it turned out to be less invasive and he was done in 2!! Because the surgery was later in the day, we were booked in a room to stay overnight - and almost did..... at about 11:00 pm the nurse came in and said that unfortunately, they needed to move my daughter to another ward because they needed her room for a patient being transferred from another hospital.... (she was the most stable patient on the ward) She asked if she could go home instead, and the doctor on call allowed it... In retrospect, I wish they had said "no"... at least we would both be asleep now - instead of just one of us... lol.... (good thing I slept in this morning...)

    another "problem" was the prescription.... they said that we could wait until 2:00 am when the doctor was expecting to come up to the ward, or leave without and have them fax it to our pharmacy in the morning.... my daughter wouldn't take any morphine for pain in the ward - only Tylenol, and they gave us a dose of antibiotics for her 3:00am dose, so we were good....well, almost good... we didn't have any Tylenol in the house, so mom went to the local 24 hour "Rabba" store when we got home and now we're good Thank goodness for Rabba!!
