With 3 people in my family who experience seasonal allergies this time of the eyar is very pricey for us.Why are allergy pills so expensive here in Canada??DH was in Buffalo on his way home from a business trip and stopped in Target. They had a bottle of 200 of their brand(target private label) loratadine pills for $13....loratadine is the medecation found in Claritin.I could not believe it.Here I paid $14 for 30 pills when they were on sale at Rexall for the store brand.....also got a 30g tube of the private label polysporin for $3.50....the cheapest i have seen it for here is $7...and gummie adult vitamins 80 for $4.49.....I need to make a trip down sometime soon to stock up my medecine cabinet..

I read before Claritin used to be a prescription drug in the U.S. and a lot more expensive in the U.S. and people from the U.S. used to come to Canada to buy it.
