    I'm learning oh wise ones!
Regular pts earned 510, credit card bonus adjustment 6952
Everything I purchased was on sale in the flyer so after the totals it says I saved $45.79 !!
My total was $51.71 before taxes and coupons ( I had to get an extra maple syrup and waffles to push me over due to a miscalculation on my part) - the cashier scanned the $10 card wus $50 freebie - BUT then I gave her a stack of coupons(over $16 worth) so she then CANCELS the $10 coupon card!!!!! I nervously say go ahead and put through the coupons as they are worth more than the $10 freebie anyways.....subtotal now $33.71 and the computer prompts her to give me the $10 bonus card anyways sooooo relieved and she was so surprised/confused <insert happy dance here> I was so very pleased.
Now my question to those in the know would I have gained more points by first purchasing a gift card with my sdm mc or no?
PS I also used one of my fill it to win free bag of popcorn with this purchase which the kids love.
    I purchased:
1 bag of simply foods kettle popcorn
    30x tins of cat food
    4x eggo waffles
    4x nativa maple syrup
    1x christies thinsation
    1x robaxacet
    5x bags of salad

Good job! I am still too scared to go below $50 with coupons I still use them, but I guess I just get more for my $50 that way instead. One day!

I was thinking of trying that! Pretend like you're about to pay until they've already swiped the $10 GC THEN hand over the coupons. hmm I don't think I'd get as lucky as you though. I think this would be a shopping trip best to leave DH in the car because I would definitely argue with the manager over this.

I always purchase a gift card before any purchase over $25.00, and I get my points... even if I am going to purchase bus ticket... $25.00 gives me 250 points, it adds up...

I did this twice yesterday. Brought out the coupons after receiving the 10.00 giftcard. Went back today and used one giftcard on 3 cases of gingerale and a Delissio pizza and it cost me around 1.23 (after using 3x1.50 coupons as well)
Open an account with Tangerine (ING) using my ORANGE KEY...29564343S1. When you open an account and deposit 100.00 you and I will both receive $25.00. Wait that's not all.....I will also send you 15.00 worth of coupons from your wishlist as a way of saying thanks.
