I went to Metro late last night with the facebook coupon for free lemonade or iced tea when you buy $5.
The back bacon (peamale) was on sale for $1.49 /lb and I wanted to give my son a great brunch before his game today. I found Maxwell house coffee on clearance for $2.64 (10 filter packs reg $5.99).
My 1st transaction coffee $2.64 (saved $3.35)
back bacon $2.84 (saved $2.84 Plus Free lemonade $1.25)
total= $5.64. ($7.44)
Transaction 2
$2.89 on buns (saved $.71)
2.97 back bacon (saved $2.97 plus Free lemonade $1.25)
$6.02 total (saved $4.93)
Transaction 3
3 X $2.99 McCain breakfast potatoes - $1 X 3 coupons to finish off my brunch.
The cashier would not let me use the coupon for free lemonade again. Saying I already used it twice. I told them there was no limit on the facebook coupons. They said come back tomorrow. Disappointed. I wish there was more than one cashier working after 11pm. I did leave 5 coupons beside the iced tea on the shelf. This thread is currently associated with: Metro

Last week it was free BBQ Sauce. I wanted to use my Chicken Chunkie rain checks so I could get both but of course they still haven't stocked them in over 3 weeks! Will have to look at another Metro unfortunately we don't like iced tea or lemonade but free is free so I've printed a few.Insert Clever Signature Here

Thanks for letting me know, I'll pay attention to the website from now on, I won't be able to go back before the coupon expires but that location which is the only one within an hour of us and they won't accept....oh well...I'll get them another time.

I got it today and must say the lemonade was gross. Liquid sugar with ever so slight hint of lemon. Yuck.

I went to metro again and bought the Mccain potatoes with $1 coupon and free lemonade. They said I couldn't use it again for my discount coffee. I didn't know there was a limit on these coupons. Has anyone else had problems using this coupon at metro?

I used them at Metro this afternoon.
I did 3 seperate transactions.
#1
2 x $2.99 Alpen cereal - $1 coupon = $1.99 each
$1.25 Selections Iced Tea - $1.25 ( free WUS $5)
$3.98
#2
2 x $2.99 Alpen cereal - $1 coupon = $1.99 each
$1.25 Selections Pink Lemonade - $1.25 ( free WUS $5)
$3.98
#3
$2.99 Alpen cereal - $1 coupon = $1.99
$2 pint blueberries
$1.25 Selections Lemonade - $1.25 ( free WUS $5)
$3.99
There was a screw up with the last purchase for a different cereal that was on sale for $2.99, and it scanned at the regular price.
There was multi- level silliness about it with the staff until finally I got SCOP later at customer service.
Cereal about $5 reg price- sale $2.99 - SCOP = freeTRADING COUPONS: FOOD, DENTAL, SOAP / BODY WASH/DEODORANT, SPECIAL CREAMS, MAKEUP, HEALTH, AIR FRESHNERS, HAIRCOLOUR, CLEANING, HAIRCARE/ SHAMPOO, DIAPERS, SHAVING, PET, MEDICINE,LAUNDRY, STORES, LONDON BUSINESSES, FAST FOOD, BATTERYPRODUCTS, CHILDREN FOOD and TOY, SMOKING CESSATION and lots more !!
