I mailed package tonight, will send tracking number tomorrow as I am too lazy to go get number from car. I dont understand canada post sometimes? I mailed something to the same province before and was a fraction of the size, about half the weight and it was only 2 dollars cheaper than what I mailed tonight. Does someone know how this works?

that has happened to me also and I as told that there is a minimum (sp ?) size.weight just like when we are mailing our coupon trades...so many coupons are 32g 1 stamp

so now I always measure my box and roughly weigh it at home then enter the info on CP website so I have a rough idea of cost..... then I change the weight (upping the weight number) to see how much more I can add before I move to the next money increase

the other thing I do is enter the weight but put in the sizes of other boxes as when it comes to CP SIZE MATTERS LOL generally a cube box can weigh more and ship for less than say a long rectangle box...that I have no clue why the size/shape makes a difference but it does LOL

Ok... Compared to previous trains, this is a very quiet one! On the last train if you missed more then 8 hours it took you almost a whole hour to read the 10 pages you missed.

I am still plugging away on my buddies package, trying to find one or two last item, but having trouble locating what I am looking for. Will finish up tomorrow and will mail on Thursday.

Is it because there are only 14 of us on this one instead of the 30 something that was on the last train? Or maybe becasue it's summer and we all would rather be outside instead of in front of the computer....except for those of us in Calgary who are dealing with constant rain and thunderstorms haha
