I joined hotspex a few months back and only won extra points on the wheel i.e 25 Bux which I converted into HBC points. Today during a survey I won $5.00. It says that they will mail me the cheque in the email. Has anyone actually got the cheque?

Yes! I won $10 on a spin and had the cheque within two weeks. I was SO excited!! I was getting tired of planting trees! LOL

I love, love, love Spt Spex. I haven't won anything but I love being able to convert into HBC points!

I like them very much since you can convert the points to EssoExtra points. Basically every 4 surveys I do, I get enough points for a free deluxe car wash with wax.

Never hear of them before "hotspex" - cool, I collect HBC and Air Miles, was thinking of converting my HBC's into Air Miles points. With a program like this sounds, could maybe rack up points at little better clip?

yeah in the past 3 months i racked up 123,000 pts through hotspex and havent stepped foot in store

btw, Hotspex is having problems with users who have Mac Operating system - their spin a wheel round for prizes doesn't work on OSX. They said they're working on it though.

i did an online group thing for a week with them and received a cheque for $75.00
also, my mom (awhile ago, before i even knew about the website), had won a pottery barn GC.. i believe it was for $150.00.. thats what got me to sign up!~ lol

wow awesome i dont have enough time to do that cause ive been doing this survey that was supposed to be 20min has turned into an hour and a half on dial up grrr cause there was a select the picture portion and that took forever to load

Not sure if you can get cheques with the bux but you do have the option to exchange them with many other points programs on points.com.

To get the maximum bang for the bux, I convert the bux to Esso points through points.com then exchange the Esso points to HBC points through essoextra.com

Here is what you get for converting 368 bux through points.com

368 bux will convert to 500 Esso points through points.com
368 bux will convert to 14761 HBC points through points.com

If you convert 500 Esso points through essoextra.com, you will get 25000 HBC points.

Thought this conversion could be useful for some Smart Canucks. One more conversion would get you 69% more HBC points, at least it works best for me
