I once thought that way about parting with the stockpile...then realized, "Why did I start this" was to help others in family,,friend and the needy....
I make baskets up for fundraisers, charity banquets, family and friends....Now I have no problem parting with the stockpile and it gives me reasons to keep couponing...(although some think it is crazy) I think others are crazy for spending top dollar for items...

I make gift baskets for the teachers and also teacher apprecation week.

OP, congrats on taking that giant step to keep your sanity. Most of us have areas in our homes ( drawers, closets, whole rooms, garages, rec rooms that are a wreck! ) that we cringe whenever we think about tackling them.
If the $600.00 is viewed as an investment ( as Nat said ) then I say money well spent!
Can I say I am envious? I am. Famous last words of mine are " when I retire " I will really have more time and I will organize, de-clutter, purge areas of our place and clean other parts that have been sorely neglected.
