ExpiredI admitted there are still a lots about couponing that I still need to learn and abide by the rule.
But one coupon per purchase, is not per transaction. Every time, I went to my local RCSS...all the cashiers, all give the same respond that I can only use one coupon for only one item purchase. I tried to explain that I have two coupons so I can use it to buy two of the same products. ARggggh!! am I right? Now I'm starting to doubt myself.
Anyone know, how I can print a definition of these terms so I can show it to them. As this is very confusing, and frustrating every time I use coupons there.

What I've heard a lot of people say in response to this is something along the lines of "I'm able to make multiple PURCHASES per TRANSACTION - correct?" and that usually starts a light bulb for the cashier....

My simple way of dealing with this is to tell the cashier that it does NOT say "one coupon per customer". This helps that light bulb to go off...

Its gotten to the point where I have printed out all the Store Coupon Policies for where I shop...
This is as of June 12th 2012
I underlined a few things that I found most noteworthy.
2.13 self explanatory 1 coupon PER item purchased
HOWEVER...
2.14 Allows supervisors/store management to restrict Individual purchases to what THEY CONSIDER "Reasonable Family Limits"
As a Single MoM of 2, with kids who actually like the same things. Who's to say that I don't NEED 10 of one item ?!?
(Example: We <3 Barilla Pasta, so in reality buying 10 pkgs won't last more than 5 meals in my house)
3.1 I am NO FAN OF... I SWEAR (don't laugh) that they seem to think that by wasting my time I will eventually give up and turn tail...
I understand the need for verification of Printables (which is why they all soon will have 2ndary codes) b/c of abuse/"Photocopies"/counterfeits etc
But seriously if it takes a Cashier AND a Supervisor AND Management for EACH and every Transaction... Then in my books thats a problem
For me I put all my couponable items dead last. I don't hand over any coupons until everything has been rung thru, that way those items are still on the line and NOT already bagged. Then I hand over my coupons watch the cashier's eyes glaze over as they call to Customer Service for Verification...
3.2 is just silly... I am used to them pulling the customers behind me over to a new line (when there is an issue)
But SERIOUSLY If I'm doing a regular grocery shop w/a near over flowing cart, they expect ME to refill my shopping cart and head to another line ?!?
3.3 so when they don't like how we play their game they can throw a fit and change the rules, call us cheater's and deny our coupons... Ohhh Myyy...
3.4 so if they are PMS'ing we should just run for the Hills ?!?
3.5 they used to...
now this has me wondering... There is NO MENTION of Price Matching here...
I'm wondering if this is getting thrown under the bus as well ?!?

I used to say some of the above comments but nothing works as well as "one per purchase simply means I can only use one coupon per purchase there fore I can't use 2, 3, 4, or 5 coupons on ONE item."

I've heard of a lot of people carrying around a coupon that says "one per customer" or "one per transaction" so the cashiers can SEE the difference between the one that says "one per purchase"
