I live out of town so I only do a big shopping trip once every 2 weeks on pay days, So I never end up at a store just for a couple of things.
But I crunched the numbers on my last shopping trip and I couldn't believe what I saved.
Total product worth = $537.29
Total OOP = $401.83
Total store specials = $49.47
Total coupons used = $85.99
Total savings = $135.46 ( this will pay my power bill )
This includes all the groceries that my family of 5 will need for the next 2 weeks and the fuel that I bought (so I could get to town and buy my groceries :D)
It makes for a long day of actual shopping, but my couch shopping trips with a couple of flyers are proving well worth itThis thread is currently associated with: N/A
