Which stores do price match?

I noticed both Zellers and Wal-Mart operates differently depends on the store itself. Like my Zellers won't do price compare of 10% off, Wal-Mart won't give 2 cents off. My Zellers doesn't give free product for wrong scanning, etc.

i price match at walmart all the time and never have any problems. However keep in mind that they do not price match on percentage sales ( ie 10% off etc) they also
item must be identical and you must present the entire flyer so that they can read the t&c as well as effective sale date> : )
also Zellers and Canadian Tire pricematch - normally my experiences have been hassle free ! Future Shop and Best Buy do too!

I have nothing but problems with them. The make up new rules on a daily basis.

Sears.ca and catalogues price matches 100 % and 110% on major appliances,etc.

I know with Zellers they only price match if the other store has the item in stock and it's the same in the ad as the one you are trying to price match. They don't price match with bigger box stores like Future Shop, Best Buy (Usually) and Costco and Sam's club.

Most stores do... the large ones anyways.

I never know Costco will match anything, wouldn't they normally have much bigger packaging?

I have had no problems with price matching at Zellers and Wal-mart. But I went to canadian tire last week to price match two items from two different stores and what a hassle!! They had to look the phone number of the stores up and then call to see if they had the stock in their stores as they will only price match if the other stores have the item in stock. Well, when they called the stores no one answered as it was close to closing time! So they wouldn't price match it for me. So I told them that was ridiculous when there is a clear description of the item in the flyer as well as the flyer dates. Then I told them I'd go next door to wal-mart to do my price matching, which I did with no hassles!

Hi! Here's a question: if I go to price match walmart prices @ zellers (for instance, the royale TP that's on sale until March 13 @ Walmart) and zellers is "out of stock" of this item, can I get a rain check for the price matched price @ zellers?

I went to two zellers today to pm the toilet paper: both were out but conveniently had the 16-roll in abundance. i'm sure on march 14, zellers'll be "back in stock" of the 12- and 24-roll of royale...

anybody know the answer to this one?
