Got quite a few items today - might need to find a bigger box now since it won't all fit!! I'm buying the chocolate later since I will most likely it eat it all before it hits the box... and I don't think my buddy would appreciate empty chocolate wrappers

Thanks for some thoughts as to why we post Lola & KK7.

And, WOW Lola, you shop fast.

My buddy, I won't be mailing until the 30th. I need the weekend to finish your shopping.

Yeah, I likely won't be mailing until after the weekend too, unless I can power shop in two hours tomorrow morning, I'm working the rest of the week, and Saturday... (booo...)

But, on the positive side, if it's ok by the rules, my package will likely be sent Fed-Ex. My BF works there and I'm thinking with his discount, it will be more affordable, and faster than Canada Post!

Mine won't be going until the 30th either, I have a full daycare this summer and an apt for my boy every night this week before he goes away for 2 weeks...will be shopping on the weekend.

came home today to find that my hubby ate one of my buddy's items ....he says it was really good.....off to get another tomorrow (and put it in a better hiding spot!)

I for sure won't be mailing until Monday. DH and I are off to the big city with the kids over the weekend....our first trip away together (all of us) overnight in 4 years!

REALLY looking forward to it! ADDED BONUS-I get to shop for by buddy in stores I've never been to!! (I'm pretty excited ) Any suggestions? I'm planning on visiting homesense, the body shop, bath and bodyworks & peir1 (can you believe I've never been to any of these stores??!! -I really do live in the middle of nowhere!)

I was super lucky and found lots off my buddy's wishlist. I was worried I wouldn't find anything. lol. Since mail day is July 30th, I wanted to try and get it done now. I only have 2 days that I dont have the kidlets and I dont really want to lug them into stores. Also DH comes home Saturday and since I haven't seen him in 3 weeks, well I wont be thinking about SC or package trains. lol.

I think this will be okay... I have not used Fed-Ex. Do you get a tracking number? Signature required?

I love homesense and the body shop. But, we have to go to Sudbury to visit them. I have NEVER been in a bath and bodyworks or peir1. Not in my area... maybe they are in Sudbury....

Speaking of shopping... we have some of the cutest little shops in our downtown area. Think "Ma & Pa" owned stores. Can always find a treasure or two in there

Honestly I don't have the money for a package train but I am so depressed I need it lol so it would be a real slap if my buddy comes on two days after them receiving it and say oh yeah I received my package from KK7 thanks. This is just my side lol I could be totally wrong.

that would totally suck!! Im with you in that I totally cant afford this but am also depressed and need it too!! I would be totally bummed if I went out of my way and spent a bunch of $$ I didnt really have, to get a half assed thanks! shame on those who acted that way on past trains!!
I LOVE posting and showing a picture of what I got! thats the best part of the whole train!!

I think the reason behind the posting is that on a few previous package trains some rider's would join and never post, so no hints to as who their buddy is or hints or extra wishes on their behalf or even acknowledging that they received the package that their buddy spent so must time on.

    I like the rule!

I certainly don't have the money either for package trains - but I love them and love making someone else happy -

To date my buddy has 20 items - total amount spent so far $5.81

Did I mention I LOVE COUPONS!!!! saddening thing is I really really really want to post a AWESOME brag but can't until my buddy opens their package else they will know what they got and how I managed to only spend that amount so far

Yep for sure you get a tracking number, and a signature is usually required unless the recipient has an agreement with FedEx to leave it at their door. On the positive side, it's next day delivery!

I don't think this is an issue then... but, I have to let Jez approve it.

I LOVE shopping for my buddy!! I budget my package trains into my "entertainment budget"... it is where I budget my stamps too.

My hubby understands this is what I like and want to do for fun!

    I love these trains!
