Stray Kitty had 5 babies!!!

Hi again,
Since the stray kitty I am caring for had her kittens, I thought I would start a new thread and post a photo. it is just from my phone but it is the first photo I got and I didnt want to make her upset with my big camera. I discreetly took a photo while she was eating. She had her kittens yesterday afternoon and actually had 6 but one was dead. She never even cleaned it off. It's really sad but I am surprised that she had 5 that look healthy. I am guessing that me feeding her the last little bit helped a lot. She is still so thin but the kittens at least have a good start to life. Just so you are aware- I am not feeding her in the dishes you see in the photo. It is a crate we happened to have available and it was a good enclosed area for her to have her kittens. I draped a sheet over it so that it is nice and dark which she really likes. Anyways here is the photo! They are only a few hours old in the photo as well! And I will post a better photo as they get a bit bigger. So stay tuned!

Hi again sorry I haven't updated in a while. taking care of mama and kittens is a bit of work and I have been rather busy but I am not complaining. They are so adorable and they are thriving and growing so fast! my goodness they will be bigger than their mom probably when they are adults! I guess it also makes a difference that they are getting proper food which is something I do not think the mama cat got while growing up. She is gaining weight as well. so all seems to be going well as of now.

Natalka I totally agree!!! They are so sweet and adorable! I just wish they were a teeny bit older that they would start playing! lol it is fun to play with kittens.
