HELP! HTML/BBCode

So, I'm trying to put a link in my siggy using this (without the spaces of course):

[ url = example link ] words I want visible [/ url]


But everytime I go to "preview" or "save" it, this is what it turns into (again, without the spaces):

[FONT=Arial] example link ] words I want visible



Is there a different coding I should be using on this forum? It's been numerous years since I've coded (used to be VERY proficient in CSS) but I'm pretty sure this is the correct format....

instead of typing the coding, try using the link button, highlight the text, click the globe with the paperclip and paste the link into the popup box

But your coding is missing the quote marks around the link, which may be the problem (unless you just didnt put them in this post)
