photocopied coupons at Walmart

I cant believe some people have actually photocopied the FPC for Old El Paso from facebook...the $7.00 Pledge/Scrubbing bubbles coupon and get this "the $4.off chicken/beef and a taco kit"....my goodness...two ladies were trying to use these at Wal mart Mcphillips...

That's so rediculous- do you work there or Did you see them? I old have probably scolded them That MY main Walmart! No wonder they are the worst when it comes to getting a hassle redeeming my coupons...geesh! Ope this doesn't make the it accept those kind anymore.

If they were to use any photocopied coupons from save.ca or websaver, or p&g, those companies would be able to trace it right back to them because of the unique code on the coupons.

I told them that they cant use it..they tried to explain that it was from the internet and I said that save.ca and websaver.ca coupons are not supposed to be photocopied. And I told them that the coupon that they're trying to use for the $4.00 old el paso and ground beef is inside that package that she was holding and its made of cardboard. So both ladies only purchased one thing I cant even remember what it was but she did use a printable coupon and I had to take that because she was only using one and I cant accuse her of fraudulent use of that coupon. The cashier was new so it was good that she asked because she wasnt sure how to use a FPC and by luck I seen the photocopies.
The $4.00 coupons were black and white, the $7.00 Pledge/scrubbing bubbles were colored but they didnt even cut it in a straight line lol..plus it was red not brownish in color like the original...the FPC was colored and printed from a good quality paper..
I still cant believe that people do that..I know that they will be back in the store..I have seen these duo before.. I have to talk to all the cashiers to be aware of these coupons.Walmart is the best store to use coupons/overage and price matching so I dont understand why they have to ruin it for everyone . Its not a perfect store but for the most part I think its pretty good. We save so much money with coupons ,we may not always get everything for free but we cant deny the savings right?so photocopying coupons is just NOT ACCEPTABLE

I dont even know if those two ladies are members here...I wont be surprised if they are reading this post right now..my message to them would be

wow with all the deals to be had people just get greedy and want even more. You'd think with the cost of good paper and ink they could just go buy another taco kit, it would probably be cheaper!

I will say it again, although I've been criticized for it. What these ladies were attempting to do is FRAUD. If I worked at that store I would state to them that this is a photocopy of a coupon and it can not be used. I would give them the benefit of the doubt. If I saw them try and do it again in the store with the same coupons, I'd call the police. There is no difference between this and shoplifting. Just my opinion.

For coupons other than websaver/save.ca/ brandsaver/replacement coupons from pampers/huggies/scrubbing bubbles or the cardboard coupons..we always give them the benefit of the doubt even if its black and white. The difference with this situation is that I know for a fact that it is a photocopy..in regards with calling the cops, its for a higher manager to decide,usually we just hand them the coupons back.
A lot of people just print in black and white so its hard to tell if its a photocopy or not..we take them because you cant accuse a customer of photocopying.
