Cally, I am so glad you and your family are OK! What a nightmare it must be for you
As you already know, I provide emergency packages to families in need so If there is anything you need, just let me know and I will send a package to your Hotel! (Anything at all, not just my usual baby supplies).
Hopefully things will move quickly with your insurance company and you can begin rebuilding soon.

Thanks again for all the sweet offers. We're leaving our friends house tonight and moving into a hotel closer to our home. Some cleaners came in today and took all our clothes that could be saved to the dry cleaners. We're being told that repairs won't even start to atleast two months from now. They have to bring in an engineer because four main beams were really scorched. SO...........they say the engineer takes about three weeks to draw up a plan than it takes another three weeks or so for it to be approved by the city. *sigh* We've been 'told' by others who friend of a friend had a similar fire and they were out of their home for six months! Keeping positive that it will be sooner. Again thanks for all the great words, it really lifts my spirit reading all of it.

It's too bad it takes so long for all of those details to be worked out but at least you can take comfort knowing its all for the safety and comfort of your family in the future
. I hope everything gets fast tracked for you miraculously!

Cally I am going to PM you with my direct email address and phone number. You definitely need guidance on how to deal with the insurance company!!! I know as had an electrical fire 4 years ago due to 2 illegal junction boxes hidden in a wall from a kitchen renovation done by the previous owner. I was living in a hotel and running my company from there also for over 6 months and it took 3 years before my claim was finally settled. They start off kind but end up fighting you on everything as time goes by and they are sneeky. Just so you know insurance adjusters actually get paid big bonuses at the end of the year for having low claims, so they will do anything in their means to not give you what your entitled to under your policy. It was the most trying time of my life and if I can lead you some advise on how to handle this, it would give me great pleasure after all the grief they put me though. I also want to let you know that a lawyer helped me out through this entire process ... free of charge (many do when they hear fire) and I did learn a lot. STAY STRONG!!!

Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, "You owe me." Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky!

Sorry to hear what happened. Hope everything works out quickly and you can get back to your home soon. The insurance company might not replace mst of your stock pile but I'm sure there is enough here with coupons to spare to help with rebuilding the stock pile. When you are ready you can send me your address and I can go through my coupons and send some to you.

Thank you everyone!
We spent the entire day yesterday going through the contents of our house with the adjuster. Hard to believe everything we owed was destroyed. But we will rebuild! They saw instantly that I was a couponer and said I will get full value for everything that was lost. We're pretty lucky and just have tried to keep positive and look on the bright side. Thanks again everyone, these messages really buoyed my spirits each time I read them. Much love!
