Potential Chocolate Promo Problems (renamed)

What I meant is, how will we tell if we will be able to get that 8000 per customer promotion points if we already got ones before the new rule? Keep in mind with the new rule, we won't see points until September 28th.

I don't know if they mean anyone who got points before won't get them now , irrespective of when they got their before points , whether it was 1 day back or 5 days back , won't get them going forward

Well this is disappointing. I was ready for crackers and chocolate this weekend.
Oh well, at least I was able to reach the 50,000pt mark, redeem points, and buy things that I actually wanted (besides chocolate).

That being said, I think I'll still buy 4 more chocolate bars this weekend. $6, and I'm pretty sure I'll get the 8000pts.

Guess you cross your fingers and hope for the best? My guess is that since the change starts tomorrow, the system will be reprogrammed. After you use your card for the first 4 Kraft products to earn 8000pts, your number will be registered. By waiting until the 28th to award points, they can make sure that it is only per card.

At least, that's my reasoning.

They will probably just start with a clean slate tomorrow , and wiil forget about the people who got the BP 1 day back or 5 days back, and won't retroactively affect the people who got the bP before

But starting tomorrow they will start registering the cards once the BP are awarded once , and won't award them again for a second time , third time etc on the same card.

You might , but since its not instantaneous anymore , you won't know till 28 Sep if you got them or not

The one good thing is that they will be in stock now that the promo has limitations.

I don't get how they can not reward the points right away; that seems like a problem in the making.

It doesn't say there is a limit of points, it says they can limit the quantity of product bought.

The limit has nothing to do with the price. They rang up $4.79 each? They are currently priced at 2/$4. This advertised price is a flyer price and not a promo price.

I bet you took the larger size. There is bigger size prices at $4.79.
If not, then ask for SCOP.
