I went with a car pool last year and it was great!
If anyone from the GTA is thinking of going and organizing a car pool PLEASE put me at the top of your list.
I might have access to a van on that weekend but I won't know until the Wednesday or Thursday before.

super super super early. Last year my friend and I were there at 5am..and it was already lined up half way around the building. Thankfully a friend of hers was near the front of the line and we managed to get in with her.

The fairgrounds are at the corner of Angeline Street South and Hwy 7. 354 Angeline Street South, Lindsay.

If you are coming from the GTA, taking 401 east, go north on 115 and north again on Hwy 35. Follow that to Lindsay. When you get to the lights at Hwy 7 turn left. You will see all the fair buildings on the left about a 1/2 km down 7. Turn right at your next set of lights (Angeline Street S) and it is the first or second driveway on the right.

All the buildings are together. You can't miss the Farmers Mutual Building.

I'm super excited for this too I always get silly putty or model magic for the Halloween kids (10 cent silly putty is cheaper than mini chocolate bars and much more fun). And a friend who owns a daycare sends me with a list for supplies and Xmas presents for all the little ones. I should be getting an advanced ticket from my mom's work again this year for the Friday sale. I'll post the deals I found that night so anyone going Saturday can see what they have.

I'll be there again this year! So excited! Last year we didn't get there until about 7am and the line was not bad at all! We were about half way down on the first side of the building. We were in by 8.20

Who gets advanced tickets?? I was told last year that is was for teachers and day care workers in the Kawatha Lakes. But it seems that people get tickets further away. Just curious.

Just read this from last year.. The Crayola Sale has been happening for 23 years and hasn't lost it's umph! People flooded the Farmers' Mutual Insurance Building at the Lindsay Fairgrounds on October 15th 2011 So it seems this is the main building.

I think Crayola hands out tickets to anyone who works in the same building. I think the OP mom works in that building (I coud be wrong though)
