She gave it to me when we stopped by after a wedding we went to. All the guys were completely wasted. I was DD of course.

So, we get there and chatted a bit and she was like "oh we just finished watching Magic Mike, do you want to borrow it?" So of course I was like YESSSS! So, BIL (DH's little bro) and his friend thought they were being hilarious and started stripping. EWWWWWWWWWW. Thankfully they stopped, but seriously? Awkward.

I'm looking up different recipes for thanksgiving. I want to make a different stuffing and I want to try brining the turkey!

i haven't even started planning my thanksgiving dinner - keeping my fingers crossed and hoping either my parents or in-laws will invite us over (either one usually does, but they're both last minute ppl, so invites don't come until a couple days before).

I was 28, was the first birthday after DD was born. I think as soon as you have kids, your birthday doesn't count.

This year we built DD's bed on my birthday. It was just like any other day. The day after my mom came over for lunch and gave me a card with cash. DH and the kids got me a few things but mostly big items I needed (like new computer).

I'm gonna go with the year I went to a co-workers baby shower on my my birthday... I think I was 24 or 25? I kind of hate my birthday lol

No thanksgiving here this year Sucks because it's my favourite holiday too.

DH is working, mom is working, sister and BIL are travelling celebrating their anniversary. Even the inlaws are out of town (FIL is hunting, MIL is visiting family).

No sense doing a turkey for me and the kids. We barely eat enough for maybe 1.5 people. lol
