a nice bright sunny day. suppose to be another good, so if you can, get out there & soak up some vitamin D.
got the pool all closed up & the patio furniture put away. all that's left is to clean up the gardens. hopefully i'll have some good weather 2 weeks from now to do that.

as long as some of them didn't mind the 50 degree F water temps & helped afterwards, in closing her down. was way TOO COLD for me to jump in.

Happy to see the 1st real frost of the year this morning...kinda cool with the sandles on.

Attitash, you may keep Jack, up there with you all "w" long. he can be your guest, he's not welcomed at my place at all. he has such a cold & frosty attitude & i'm such a warm & sunny person.

Those are some really spectacular pictures of Alaska! We took a cruise there 10 years ago, and remember Sitka, Haines and Skagway. Hard to believe that the mountain tops in Sitka used to be outcrops of rock when the glaciers dominated the area.

Good Tuesday morning Q-bees!
I wasnt around much on the weekend as I was shooting a corporate training video Sat & Sun. I usually do a big meal for all the family at my house but I took a break this year, felt kinda good actually-preparing all the food for those family parties is exhausting! I still threw a small turkey in on Monday for my hubby/kids/myself, certainly not as big as "Hugh" but enough that Hubby has sandwiches for work today.
Karl-I am so sorry to hear about little Bender, my heart goes out to you.
Jester- LOVED those pics, what a fantastic trip it must have been, but I think you chose Alaska just so you could spend time cuddled up & keeping warm with your beautiful Kween!

3 x 10L containers of chlorine got put in before the cover went on. that should sanitize the water. another 3 will go in when i open it up next year.

Some of my family members went camping over the weekend. I am a cottage kind of gal & camping is an activity that no longer appeals to me no matter what the season. I know it can be fun & those roaring fires & cooking outdoors is second to none.........but I am a wuss, I do not like being cold.

I may be willing to try "Glamping"

I JUST finished the clean up from last night !! I'm exhausted !!
Figured I better do it b4 I sat down, or I might not get back up 4 a week.
I have so much left over, I'll be eating it 4 a week.
